What application should I download to be able to play it?

you shouldnt need any RPGmaker app to play it are you sure its not telling you to download a RTP ?

the RpgMaker apps cost shit loads of money and are not worth buying unless you plan to start makeing rpgmaker h-games

this still needs a proper translation the current one the sentences are cut like "we should take" ....we shout take what?!
thats only one ex it happens alot atleast in the start of the game i have a hard beliveing that its only in the start of the game...
im gonna play through it when i have the time, ill edit this post if its just now but if it keeps happening this should be reTranslated... MTL is not a proper TL.

edit: yes it needs a proper translation as it is now its like a kid wrote the dialogs.

also here i got this from the translation request thread it was made by Rrezz it translates the H-status that you access from inventory items.

just open the zip and drag the data folder to game folder and replace.
also this shouldnt F things up but if it dose make a copy of the CommonEvents.json befor you replace it.

the RTP source files can be found o rpgmakers home page and they are free just look for the RTP that you need and download it if the RTP is what you need then after installing you should be able to run the game also i dont know witch engine this game uses so you will have to test your way forward

try downoading and installing any of these there are 2 more rpgmakers programs called MV and MZ i dont know if you need RTP for those but if you do i do not know where to find those because they are not on this pagelink i added.

this is my guess on why you cant run the game alot of developers dont include the source files in thier games and this is why you need the RTP it inclueds files needed to run the game, i hope this solves your problem

edit: i did some scanning on some rpgmaker forums and it turns out MV automaticaly includes the RTP files in game folder when creating a game, im guessing its the same with MZ because both of them dont have a RTP downloads on the homepage, so your problem is something else all i know is that you do not need the RPGMaker MZ or MV programs to run the game. sorry i cant help you
