Started somewhat good but was pretty meh since the introduction of Violet

In the end it is awfully mediocre and feels rushed to set up a sequel. I mean, it isn't that good but they will try to squeeze more out of it? Weren't 5-6 years enough to finish the story? for what it is, it feels like it should but alas .
