I'm guessing he might only need the script files and such as I do not believe by looking at the game there is any real difference between the Steam release and Patreon release besides achivements.

Yeah, that's actually how I first saw KM. It was on a site full of online Ren'Py games. Might've been gamcore. Just be aware that the online emulation used is iffy and fast forwarding through content may crash games and force you to restart.
