upon revisiting this to try to get loaders to work on it I have decided that the dlls in the game are stripped which prevents mods that would easily add some things to it. Such as vr or other things.

Might play with the idea of unstripping it if I feel like learning that. I also downloaded the leftover abandoned vr version made by a fork team. It has some issues though such as having horrible lighting which could easily be fixed. Would take some time though so don't hold your breath.
The VR fork didn't work at all for me with the Quest 3 unless I was doing something wrong. None of the controls worked lol although I sorta was expecting it to not work considering how old the fork is and how new the Quest 3 is in comparison...

Also, I'm pretty sure you can find unstripped DLLs on the KK discord. I've used them to install BepInEx plugins that let me control various things in the game

I happen to have a vive laying to the side with my quest and it's questionable design even for that. I think every single piece of control design could use a repass on this project. Also good to know on the dlls. I will give it a look.
The way controls were designed for the menus period is a sin.
edit: With these, I do have vr working at the very least through other plugins

I've compiled all of the recent 130ish mods that can be found on Steam workshop into one mirror, you just download these .7z archive parts ( you need them all to extract any of the mods inside ) and copy their contents into mods folder within AppData\LocalLow\Naelstrof\KoboldKare directory ( if you don't have that folder just create one yourself )

Pixeldrain ( if you get download rate limited just use this tool to bypass it )
Hey the 1st file gets by downloaded, even before using the bypass. But the 2nd and 3rd seem to be coming up corrupted. Would this be an issue with Breezip which is what i use or is it something with Pixel Drain?

I will redownload all the archive parts myself and let you know if the corruption thing happens to me as well or not

Okay I just realized what's happening, you need to only open the first part of the archive to access the files inside and not get the corrupted error, when you open that first part you get to see contents of all three parts altogether, that's how segmented file archives work

But if it still doesn't work for you for some odd reason I suggest trying 7zip, it's free and that's what I mainly use to open and create compressed archives

Oh so the first part is literally just all 3 parts together? Wild.

Btw will you be adding more of these mods? I'm sure there are more as of recent that would be good to have.

We will see as time goes on but if someone was desperate enough they could just collect the new missing ones and make a new compilation themselves, I wouldn't mind that at all

How did you go about it? If its within reasonability i possibly could, however i'm not the biggest fan of file and computer digging so its a maybe.

I used SteamCMD tool to download all the workshop items, you don't even need to own the game or use your account because it let's you do the downloading anonymously, like I just had to grab every workshop mod ID from steam and then make a command with list of all the IDs and just put than in the console and it did it's thing, some mods would sometimes fail to download but it just took an another try to get it solved out

One google search would probably already tell you how to do all that without much effort and I think someone even already explained how to do this SteamCMD thing in this thread before so you could also just go back and read that instead

I was under the impression that versions prior to ver X is open source but after X is the paid product?
AFAIK:
Pre ver X used third party content which the licenses did not fully allow to be made open source. It is, however, still a paid product, but you could theoretically still take the source and build it yourself.
While it is open source, it does not provide the built project with it (unless something changed).
Yes, I believe that my statement here is the reasoning there, but I might be wrong as well.

I ASSUME the reason for going open source was to allow community input, but can't say for certain.
As for the right to actually use the source code, please refer to the license(s) included in there to know the details of usage rights of the open source part (I'm not versed in law, licenses, or similar, so I won't be able to explain it/confirm beliefs about it).
