If you reinstalled it twice - the problem, probably, is with your system.
- Try to update your drivers.
- Depending on how psychotic your antivirus is, it could mess with some files' code without even notifying you. Try to add to your antivirus exceptions the archive itself (before downloading it) and the folder where you install the game afterward. [You can do it by adding the folder to your 'exceptions' and then downloading the archive inside that folder. I think.] Then redownload and reinstall.

Did all that and it didn't work. But the other Koikatsu game works fine though.

hey guys. i downloaded this. the non vr application works fine. but when i launch the koikatsu sunshine vr, steam vr opens and the game gets stuck at white screen. How do i make it work? Please help!

You absolutely can. Plenty of clothing mods are redundant because they exist to recreate specific characters. You can delete any you don't need. They're located in mods\sideloader modpack\

I plan to go through my mods/characters etc over the weekend and see what I can delete, but i was hoping someone could tell me if theres anything game specific I can remove. Like since I dont play the main game or VR modes, is there anything i can remove from the game folder thats relevant to only those 2 modes?

simple, just put the BonesFramework.dll file inside of the Koikatsu game folder > BepInEx > plugins. that should be it

You might have had the better repack version installed previously.
Open the settings menu > plugins menu, and look for settings for the plugin ‘kk better h scenes’. That should get you started in finding what plugin settings were changed.
The other alternative is to reinstall the hf patch and MAKE SURE that you do a clean installation for your plugin settings (fresh plug in settings)
