Hey guys is it possible to increase the limit of registered characters higher than 100 with mods? I don't mean having 100+ characters in game at once, but rather have more than 100 character cards registered in the hotel as a chance to appear with whatever my in-game guest limit is

It's likely to be doable as a mod, but I've never heard of one like this.

Download BetterRepack 12 and apply the HF 1.26 patch (recommended), then update from the launcher and only select what you need.
If you want more poses and new features, you'll need to add the KsPlug. You'll have to find character cards online.
Whether through Kenzato, BepisDB, or Patreon on the Kemono page.

I don't quite understand the hair thing. The graphical appearance can't be modified much, since it's mainly changed with the Material Editor to modify the shaders for skin, hair, and clothing. But you'd have to change it manually on each graphics card and find a configuration you like.

You could edit kks_postprocessingEffects from the plugin settings, but it might become somewhat unstable; it's a matter of experimenting.

Follow-up to my previous comment, you can easily raise the limit of character cards/rooms/slots to higher than 100. Shout out to ManlyMarco, his KKS GameplayMod features this to a max of 1500 registered cards.

1. Download KKS GameplayMod and add to your BepInEx plugins
2. Ingame, press F1 and click on Plugin Settings
3. Search "gameplay" and look for "Koikatu Gameplay Tweaks and Improvements"
4. Adjust slider for "Increase Max Number of Character Slots"

Done. Now you can shoot ropes to a different anime girl every day for the next 4.1 years of your life

Is there any definitive way to fix all the shader errors, from various cards/scenes? Always keep getting "couldn't load shader KKUTSHair"/Alpha and or "couldn't load xukmi MainItemAlphaPlus" not matter how many different versions I try.

You're missing a mod for those cards. in particular a shader and an item mod. You can find those on the discord. There is a mod depository but I can't think of the name at the top of my head. Usually i go to the depository and search for the missing mod it tells me. Starts with a K im pretty sure

Is there a way to bring cards for Koikatsu Party into Sunshine without errors if they use a lot of zipmods. for example MrDelegado's cards. I've tried loading them up in the character editor and saving them again as suggested in this thread but that hasn't made any difference. Some mods seem to be installed but they might be different versions. I've opened the card up in KKManager and tried to see if I can mess with the plugins but I can't see where I could update mod versions
