hey can you guys tell me why the studio keeps making my maps dark?
for example i downloaded this View attachment 4820895 from bepis, but when i open it in studio it looks like this View attachment 4820901

You probably don't have mods required to run the lighting. Ceiling lumps clearly don't work.
When you load scenes, there should be shown a list of mods used in this scene that you don't have - in the top-left corner of the screen.

If you find what it is - tell me. Cool effect.

The AiO is the game+mods the sideloader is optional content for the studio. If you're not using the studio you dont need the sideloader pack.

the mod doesn't work anyway, it doesn't matter if it's optional or not

sadly it doesn't say anything when i load the map. however when i try to add map lights it says this which by the way also not seem to light up anything in the room.

this isn't an exceptional case either. all the koikatsu standard maps work completely fine, however if i add some objects (like a lot of objects are fine too), they have strange lighting effects as well.

as you can see the beach itself is lit normally. the chair and umbrella however do not throw a shade, whereas the building does. but at the same time the building is strangley unlit itself

This pack includes all available DLC (Preorder extras, Summer/personality expansion, Afterschool expansion and Darkness expansion)
someone can help and says what add dlc and expansion and how find and unlock . i have extract the file zip and run the game

hello, im trying to download a certain character but all i could find were zipmods that create items with the same model as the character, is there a way for me to "turn them" into a character or would i need to learn proper animation to put them in scenes?

I'm having a problem: after saving the game in any area of the map and loading it to re-enter, the game stays on the screen, constantly loading, and won't load.

But if I load the game from the room to start a new day, the game manages to load. Does anyone know what the problem is or how to fix it?

r11 and r12 are problematic and buggy. r10 is currently the most stable running r10. if you are going to download this game, do not download any version other than r10, other versions do not see both mode and have bug problems. if only r12 could not come out without fixing the problems in r11, I hope the modder will fix it as soon as possible.

this is really odd, because normally if something is missing for a map, the studio does tell me usually. so i have no idea why the shaders aren't called missing.

found a solution!
i added a plugin from [Laeknir] called: "KKS_SceneEffectsExtended.dll"
now everything works properly!

I'm not familiar with the kks hf patch unfortunately. i was more interested in the studiyo side and was able to detect bugs there. if you describe its function i will try to help.

As a result of 3 days of research, I think there is no error in the game, but some settings have been moved or removed in previous versions, especially in r10, the default show characters box setting in the studio has been thrown to the character maker section, you see all the characters only there. I don't know why it was done like this. I guess the modder thought that the person who would use the studio would not use the main characters anyway, but would make the character from the character maker and upload it to the studio. unfortunately, I could not solve the other problem, as you can see in the screenshot, this setting box is missing.

I don't know much about Koikatsu, although I've known this game since 2018, but:
Is it possible to delete all characters directly in the game or in the game folder, leaving only futanari characters?

It's not content for use IN THE GAME. In the ACTUAL GAME FOLDER there is a "character studio" file. It is an entirely separate thing for the purposes of design and creating content. MOST games/VN's you will see that have Koikatsu styled characters are made using the character studio. The OPTIONAL sideloader mod pack is specifically for the character studio and not the normal sunshine game mode. The Studio's basically just developer tools, and it's also not broken you just wont have a use for it outside of the character studio. The sideloader mod pack is full of assets used for creating content. Most if not all of the common questions here should be easily answered by searching this thread.
