I got same proble. Likely you have used save file that was close to end of story for v0.7. I was able to progress with v0.8 with save that was preciding final corruption of Naimi, like she invites you to first live stream. There is some events that are introduced along, like this new Hokage building, where Hinata's husband work, as well some travel to mall with Hinata scenes. Save from v.07 does not seem correctly plugs into reworked design, which update turned to be not just what you see, some dialogs with Naimi were bit reworked too as well as cowgirl scene now is animated and it used to be just still picture in v0.7.
So my suggestion to starover from much earlier save.
The dev is wasting time with the non-milf characters. But at least we're getting Hinata first.

Great games need time to develop decent content, the updates have less content than usual in other games, but it's either more content but longer production time, or less production time but less content.

Of course Hinata was gonna be in the next update. 0.8 literally ends with them heading to the bedroom to continue the handjob.
The problem will be after this next update. I'm pretty sure that after this 0.9 there won't be any more Hinata content until the next arc is finished, which will probably be around July or August.

If there are no delays, around January 10.
If there is a big delay like with 0.8, then around January 25.
But yesterday, someone asked when we were going to fuck Hinata, and Kimkun himself replied “this month,” implying that it will be released before the end of December.
But I'm sure he's lying, because even though 0.8 was supposed to be released in November, it ended up coming out in December, and there's literally no way he's gonna release two updates in the same month.
Besides, we're obviously not going to fuck Hinata anytime soon, although I think Kimkun understood "fuck" as any kind of sex scene, and since there is a handjob, he said that.

Yes, as you said, it's likely that after the next update, Kim will temporarily pause Hinata's storyline. It's probably because after giving Haruto his first blowjob, Hinata will feel regret or shame, so she'll pause temporarily. It's also likely that Kim will use this pause in Hinata's storyline to develop new locations or start new storylines for characters like Sakura or Ino.
