You are absolutely right, sadly. As a shota fan myself I find this types of characters and relationships quite revolting and at the same time I hope for some naughty shota stuff like in good ol' Riffi struggle on Virgin Island or scene from X-Change 2. Manga happens to be the only resort here.

It feels like a game; or at least the framework for one. I don't understand; it has some nice quality of life stuff with the journal giving you an idea what to do during that day. Or with the ending quick save so you don't need to replay everything and get the third harem ending. But at the same time it makes you go through day after day after day with only 1-2 events.

But getting both girls in the end is a nice subversion?
