so i use the japanese IME keyboard but i still cant change my name , anyone know why?

Edit: Solved it, just need to change from half-width alphanumeric to full-width alphanumeric in the japanese keyboard then type the name in notepad and copy paste it into the prompt in the game.

Late but yes its exclusively the Main Character. No idea where they got that. Maybe they confused it with Elven King which is full of sharing the elves.
