This kinda feels like watching the second season of a show without seeing the first. I kept having to wonder if these were characters from that Lust one and I was supposed to be more familiar with them than I was. Obviously it's normal to start games midway through someone's life not at their birth or anything, but the way things were introduced all felt a bit off and weird.
Edit: And looking at these comments it is supposed to be the MC from the other game (I guess maybe I stopped playing it before this overlord stuff?) and Annie was supposedly one of them, maybe she just looks too different here for me to recognise. She did also mention a Samantha and that succubus is the only one I really remember.
Oh yeah it definitely is connected, the Hermonie ripoff reappeared... and then he went back there later on.
I'm glad to see no sandbox this time at least. Seems like a more interesting setting too.
Annie is totally my type, so No. 1 on my list (I hope she turns out to be one of the optional dickgirls - something about a "drop of soul" in the cocktails made me think of something magical and she might be like that succubus from the other game). Ashley was nicely dolled up too and I was kinda vibing. Elizabeth is kind of a dick, I get not getting rel points with her if you call it out, but Annie saying you're being harsh makes no sense when she comes at you like that at the start of the game. Just like there's no reason to be cool to Seb when he was acting exactly like the terrorist guy with his pureblood BS. Seems MC is forced into being too much of an unrealistic nice guy.
You've gotta click on the transition screens you know that say "The next day" or whatever, can't just tap space to advance though like you can with dialogue for some reason. There was also some weirdness with the cursor when selecting clues, after the first one you'd click on it then snap back weirdly, happened both times.
Doing the investigations doesn't seem to do anything... you find the evidence but no way to actively deduce anything.
