The save file is not a very old save though. It was just the previous version. (I think it was still 2025.04 Beta)The issue is you trying to use an old save, don't do that, it won't work.

Change to note for Develop version is that using the outside test serum (Bimbo for research head) takes away both Int and Focus but the reversal does not return Focus.
As far as I know it is not about public sex, it is about slutty work uniforms/not wearing anything. When using the trance on the city rep there is on the right side an option to let her wear slutty clothes. Give her slutty clothes and some days later she should get a "quest" where she complains that she can not wear even sluttier clothes, then you have to corrupt the cop lady and it should work out.
i already unlocked public nudity policy, but there are also two policies about public sex, minor and hardcore, i unlocked minor sex acts policy, but i CAN'T unlock hardcore sex policy, to not get arrested for public sex

Its just the cop you need to worry about as far as I know the official is triggered by obedience. As for how much I would not know as I can no longer unrar the rpyc files

Have those that picked this up ever mentioned if they're going to get rid the hard "can't do this position without breaking X taboo" requirements? I'm assuming its sticking because the new girls they added quests for since branching from the original have it, but holy fuck it feels so limiting and janky.

No but they did make it harder to break taboo's.
Just takes more work to get the taboo to break.
i saw some people said that they are will retract it, simplify it, in next updates, overall gameplay will be simplified

it's good, that some people had noticed, that git system ain't for everyone and started posting releases properly, unlike some genius that tried to make it better.
it is less than nice, that those programmers updated engine - unpack tool have troubles with it.
it seems it's because of serums - they work during the day, but if effects are to be applied during day change to next, it crashes.
reason: they changed & added several functions that mod char stats (obedience, max energy, happiness etc.), but they're not all exclusive yet, some old ones still work.

you are using a newer renpy version, have you tried the original one that comes with it?
4.0.32 is not the LR2 version but the version of VTmod, there is something up-to-date

LR2 comes with this renpy version, if you have a newer one maybe it's because of that?!

download it, unzip the LR2R-Runtime.zip directly into the folder and you can play
here you have to move your mods to the “mods” folder (you should check your used mods for updates) (i.e. Kina, Kaden, VT)
to be on the safe side, delete all *.rpyc files from the mods folder

There is none without the realsex mod.
