This comment keeps coming back into my head, and now I'm worried about doing anything with Stephanie at all. Can you be more specific about what you can or can't do with Stephanie before Ellie shows up (if you don't want to lock out Ellie's events)?

I'm very likely wrong about this; the "I LIVE AT HOME WITH MY MOM AND ONE TO THREE SISTERS" trope is my biggest annoyance in this category and as such I tend to avoid most such content - especially when the game is as expansive as LR2 is. Anyway. As far as her boss's daughter and related content, what serum tier are you at?
Right now, the basement dungeon (and the BDSM room in the strip club) is a special room that lets you assign the "slave" role to sufficiently obedient/into-it NPCs. Slaves have I think 5 additional commands compared to most non-slaves outside of sex scenes (

VERY likely, yes. Several key story NPCs have sex stuff explicitly tied to their own stories' progression points.

The only requirement for getting Ellie's intro event that involves Steph at all is that you need to have someone in the "head researcher" position. As far as I know, that can only be Steph. Don't move her out of her head researcher role, and you'll be fine.

I'm maxed out (tier 3 and have unlocked Ellie's nano upgrades), honestly I just forgot about she existed after meeting her and tried to look for her but couldn't find her and everytime I tried asking for her location with my phone, she says she is at home.

I don't believe Stephanie is tied much to Ellies events. I'm using the beta version, but I just went through both Steph and Ellie files to find any relationship between the two. Ellie is mentioned only once in Steph files about the teamup scene, and steph is mentioned a few times but nothing should impact Ellies events.
To unlock Ellie, you have to first unlock and upgrade the Nanobots which requires Tier 1 trait unlocks (upgrading research once with Steph) and you may need to corrupt Steph a bit in the first place. After that, the events surrounding Ellie will fire, you can't miss them nor can Steph block it. The only way to miss her is by not having an open employee slot, which the game very loudly warns you about ahead of time.
There are only two other times Steph appear with Ellie, once for the teamup (threesome scene) and once for Ellies obedience path. However, in the obed path it's Ellies stats that matter, not Stephanies.
My guess is that the original commenter doesn't realize how to get Ellies initial events to fire. I'm like 80% it's related to her lust score, so it can seem a bit random at times. She also may need to be upgrading the nanobots specifically, not the office upgrades.
Yeah, the problem is that they were added as an afterthought so we* had to find ways to make 'em viable by just mixing and matching, and being able to stretch/shrink/flip the existing poses. Under the cirumstances, I think it wasn't a half-bad job. Like most things in the game, it could definitely have been done way better tho.
*by which I mean Starbuck - pretty sure she's the one who made 'em work. Don't quote me on that. Memory like Swiss cheese, that's me.
Have you gone back to Nora to work on any of her other traits after the first one she gives you (the one that leads to unlocking tier 2)?

Yeah I did the reports on all the NPCs to get the unique traits as well. Are you confused with the rich girl that needs to be tutored? I think her name is Iris and she only shows up when I confront the boss of Jennifer's company.
edit: I just realized the two are sisters. I don't see Iris anywhere at the house, only Emily.

Oh well and just to comment on the game / mod
TBH much of the writing and interdependencies leave much to be desired.
For example, if you have a partner being all-submissive and doing whatever you want, but 0 sluttiness, love or whatever. You wouldn't expect them to talk like a pornstar whore during sex?
Everything around the sister/mother content is so weird. Both are your girlfriend / harem, you have sex at home with the other being present. Yet they act like they're having sex on the street with strangers watching.
"They could recognize us! What would mom say!" - yeah she's right there, talking to us...
The artificial pacing of the story characters is annoying and grindy. Like the Aunt is already full love / slut mode, but you need to grind through her events for weeks or months just to get more than a blowjob. Not to mention the repeated "break taboo six more times" with the mother / sister if you don't remove the incest opinion through trance.
I also played the original game, never had issues working the lab without cheating, researching and producing drugs. But somehow it seems like an infinite grind just to discover something better than the 1-trait basic stuff.

Iris doesn't show up when confronting the boss, that is Emily. You meet Iris at the taboo-breaking event to buy your sister an iphone. Iris also has her own place and doesn't live with the rest of her family.
There are missions that they give you after breaking the taboo the first time. Completing them unlocks the taboos for good and returns X-amount of sluttiness. Only the vaginal ones require the family member to like/love incest.
I have played the beginning enough times to know it is realitively easy to the tier 1 (you start at tier 0) in the first week without cheating. Tier 2 and Tier 3 take time but by then you should have a decent company which for the most part would just be automating. All you need to do each week is make sure you have a serum(s) that meet the criteria for your contracts and have them be made.
Assuming you haven't over extended your resources contracts should cover your company. If not have a general product and sell it on the market only once in a week. If you have enough marketing then it should recover it's full price before a week is out.

well on my game one of the sisters shows up after i complete Nora’s research and the other shows up during the boss confrontation. I may have messed up the event sequence by using cheats. How do I get the iPhone scene? Outside of seeing my sister naked and helping take photos of her, I haven’t messed with her sexually. Does she have to be still in school since I already told her to drop out and join the company.
To tell you the truth, I'm not sure. I've been slowly progressing through a new playthrough basically ignoring Stephanie until Ellie shows up, and I just haven't progressed enough through the serums. The discord didn't mention the specific tie between Ellie and Stephanie when I went digging last time. I might be able to figure it out once I've unlocked Ellie and let you know.

Iris shows up for both confronting mom's boss (which you can take her out for coffee afterwards and get her number) and buying phone for Lily's event (if you wait in queue, you'll meet her and then get her phone number).
Emily shows up in the University after you've unlock it (leading to tutoring event and eventually unlocking her home and Christina).
You wouldn't happen to know if meeting Iris in mom's office has any effect on Lilly's phone quest, would you?
Does it mess things up if you've already met? Does it change the dialogue?
Inquiring minds want to not break any questlines
can't confirm in the latest update, but in v. 2023.09 i had both events pop and theres no mention of any previous meetings, so they seem like separate, and won't affect anything at all.

I'm guessing that meeting Iris in Mom's office was put in so that Iris wouldn't be completely locked out of the game if you don't buy Lily a phone as the taboo break. Although, you could also easily miss that event if you hire Mom instead of doing the NTR stuff. But either way, it doesn't look like Iris has any further events or story elements beyond the introduction.

1. Why cant I make Aunt and Cousin girlfriend/ harem?
2. Why aunt wont work for me at my company after completing CDA (correct term?) ?
3. How do I start city laws? I have met Police Chief and City Administrator (Penelope Jung). I already have Jung wearing slutty skimpy outfit that barely covers her.
