Dude, they are all betas. All due respect, but you don't get it. Not sure where I got the original zip from (lewdninja ???), but downloaded a new zipfile "LabRats2-Reformulate-2024.08-pc.zip" from WorkUpload. Deleted all the persistent Renpy dirs in "Users"; renamed the original Lab Rats dir, so as not to interfere, created new game structure from the publically released .zip file. Started a new game, all defaults except pregnancy. Same results: Save immediately on Day 0, Early Morning. Quit game. Restart Lab Rats. Load game. Immediately upon loading, it tells me there is an "Uncaught Exception"; that's a BUG. To whit:
"
I'm sorry, but an uncaught exception occurred.

Why do you say, "... nothing in your error post that has a bug. ..." The traceback log indicates a BUG.
Hovering over the "IGNORE" choice, presents the message: "Ignores the exception, allowing you to continue. This often leads to additional errors." Why would I want to do that? This is not a five minute game. I don't want to waste hours of play time to have some additional error pop up, propagating from this, perhaps with no clear clue it stems from this point.
I'm aware there is a beta available, probably with its own undiscovered bugs. I truly don't care that I'm four months behind those who want the newest, glitziest version. I want to play a stable release. When a BUG pops up immediately upon starting the game, and no one seems to care, I have to wonder if its even known to those continuing development.
Now, to get back to my original question: Has anyone else had this same experience? Maybe with the newest beta? Has anyone even checked?
All of them.
There is no such thing as a stable release.
Not sure where you got that idea, you should delete it from your head.
