You have Ellie, so Talk to Stephanie about Nanobots and that should trigger having her empathize Ellie. If that isn't an option then Ellie should already be in a position that gives you research objectives. Normally the option only becomes not Greyed out because you did not get Ellie and need to buy the position. Otherwise it like the other position are automatically bought.
Once you research enough of the next level traits she will call you congratulating you and offer to speak to you on campus unlocking it.
I don't have Ellie. She blackmailed me, I met her once, talked with Stephanie, met her second time, pressed "Hire Ellie" and that's it. End of story. At no point in this chain was "Open IT director position" available.
You hired her. She should be an employee for you now. The option become avalible if you don't hire here. On Friday she should have some form of conversations with you. On Monday she should be in the office and then you can do what I said. If that isbnot the case then you somehow broke her.

Max Energy is set as max 300 in the code
but you can edit it for yourself open \game\main_character\MainCharacter_ren.py line 289 + 290 change the number 300 to the number you would like to have as max

It used to be set at 400 before and could be permanently set to whatever you wanted with a single console command (500, 1000, 3000, etc.).
There is no such file in the pre-packaged version.
And I for sure can't be assed to set up the beta version GIT hub bullshit.
you see the max cap is now 300if you want to use the pre-packaged version, you'll have to live with it.
Does the regular Download get updated with the mod version from time to time?
