Oh yeah, it definitelly has issues. But there is good news, lately it's been announced that there will be entirely new event system for this game. First test girl to check it should be Lily, but I am not sure if it was already included in the latest update.

I just downloaded, extracted, and executed both of my uploads, they work just fine....
It is really pointless to ask for save for this game because every play though is different. I have played several play though and none of them are exactly the same. Events are triggered sooner or later, depending on how you play the game.
That's because the clips aren't actually part of the game. They're a mod that someone else made completely separate from the game's actual devs, and then a third person came along and posted a download link here that included all the working mods, and then a fourth person reported that download link as the latest update of the main game. And then someone on the moderation team saw that report and just mindlessly edited the front page to have only that heavily modded version instead of the actual latest stable release from the devs.
