renpy is great for actual visual novels not so much for games with any sort of complexity outside of being a visual novel. Can you get it to work, yes, but you going to be fighting the engine every step of the way.

Ok so there is a clear spot this game lacks, the visibility of stats and what they do and how they grow. Like the traits, they only tell you what they do once you buy the girl and look in the inventory, we shouldn't have to save scum to check what a trait does.
You cant see the stats of a girl that is being punished, or the one doing the punishing, so you keep having to back out to check. This makes it even harder to figure out what leads to what stat being changed.
And each stat, power at least clearly affects mining, but what stat does farming want? The jobs just dont really tell you what is needed.
What does toughness do, does it make them take less stamina?
But here is the big question. What raises each stat
HP and Stam clearly regen a very small amount each day. There are traits like regenerative and perverted that boost regen. But even with them the regen is awful, its just insanely low amount.
But the core stats tough, power, attra, and int clearly grow and not just from traits.
From what I can tell getting punished by another girl in the day builds toughness on the punished and power on the punisher?
Night punish builds toughness at cost of health
Attractiveness is raised by sexual punishments at night, which costs stam
Do the jobs build stats?
Over all just very little is told to us. And we can barily use the systems in place because of how little regen we have.

No gore as far as I know, just a good bit of beating as is standard with spankbot games, and maybe a bit of blood from canings. (Not even sure if canes are in this game lol, haven't played this since August. Just going based off of every other game of his, all of which are VERY similar in content)

RenPy is just Python with some extra bits bolted on to make VN-style development easier. Fundamentally there's nothing about it that can't handle complexity.
Fun fact: EVE Online is built mostly in (stackless) Python, excluding 3d render stuff.
