eh yeah, it's somewhat sloppy art but I enjoyed the story a good bit. and to be honest, especially by Valkyrie HS2's jankiness was really starting to pull me out of the game, so this isn't too different from that. cool game, good time
Just finished the game, liked it, the AI didn't bother me, I just felt there was less content compared to others. Still, this game is definitely more up my alley than Valkyrie, just wished we went back to increasing the number of corruption stages/characters. Iirc Valdana has the most, followed by Isis then Valkyrie and this at the bottom.
Agreed, it certainly felt a lot shorter compared to the others. I'm also a little disappointed that the doctor was his only slave onboard going into this. If we assume the rookie "escaping" is the canon ending to Valkyrie, it would have been nice to have her as his security officer or something. It was also nice to be Dario again though, the player doing the corruption is much more my speed than player(s) being corrupted like in Valkyrie.

I think Lamashtu is before Valkyrie you can see in the end credits that Hikari was just appointed on the Grand Duke. Tjord also said this was a shorter game in general, I think this was a trial run for AI CGI and I think the tech is just not there yet but is serviceable. Only complain so far is the lack of sex with both Margaret and Bianca and a few more CGI on some scenes but with what we got is already decent. I know our protagonist is a nepo baby but I wish he actually smarten up and do actual covert operations for Section 6. There is still one angle Tjord can do and that is let him get arrested and corrupt other sections from the inside with a help of a former slave or a plant.
eh, I would not call Dario a nepo baby, he is clearly very competent and determined, it's just that he keeps getting thrown against absurd opposition, it's part of what makes him a good character (at least for the purposes of the fall series) yes he is quite literally the scum of the galaxy, but his striver nature makes him somewhat endearing all of his victories while dependent on more than one occasion on luck, are merited by and large.
that said I'm also down for some institutional corruption, it's technically happaning in the brackground what with Irene's clinic and the like

I didn't mind the AI art and the story and VN were okay as well. I was missing maybe one more transformation however. It was over way too fast.
Dunno how consistent you can stai with AI generation so that would be a hurdle.
I also understand that this was more of a testgame? so content was a bit thin as well.
Your best game was Valdana: The Fall because of it's size but I liked the content and transformations in Valkyrie: The Fall the most so one day I hope I can get a game that is basically a mix of those both.

Those are just news articles explaining what happened to the original crew. It's stating Kirke was just appointed to Section 6 new head as well, but we know she's been there since the second game.
Well, having completed the game now I'll say that overall I quite enjoyed it though it was short. It was fun being back in Dario's slimy head, he's been my favourite protagonist so far. The lack of characters was sad and I would've enjoyed more scenes, but the characters and the corruption (and corrupted forms!) were fantastic! This was clearly a tech demo more than an actual game, but the story was enjoyable (if clearly heavily heavily inspired by Kangoku Senkan, down to the artstyle and the images of the two of them being brainwashed).
As others have pointed out, the AI art was occasionally off, extra fingers being most noticeable, but the actual character designs were quite consistent. One thing that I really appreciated that is difficult to do with Honey Select: distinctive male characters! All the members of the crew and the Admirals at the end were all distinct and recognizable, which is quite difficult with HS2 resources. Personally I never really cared for the animations, so they weren't particularly missed and I did like the dynamic poses and facial expressions that were possible with the new style. Also, purely a mental thing on my end, but I find the overly colossal breasts considerably less repulsive in an anime style as compared to 3d. Still not my fetish, but I guess I'm more used to seeing that on an anime figure so it's not as jarring.
The old artstyle had its charms, but I think that with some more practice this could be really good for Tjord's style. Nobody captures corruption and depravity quite the way I like like they do, and I'm really looking forward to whatever comes next. Also, I loved seeing the old girls in the credits! I wish they could've played a bigger role.

Ultimately, if AI is the quicker and easier way for you to make games, then I say go for it. You've proven you know how to use it well.
If I had one nitpicky complaint, it would be that the reveal of Bianca's transformed body was a little anti-climatic. She just walks up to you in the hallway with her new body, without the music or camera angle changing. It was a little underwhelming compared to past fully transformed girl reveals.
I'm looking forward to seeing what you do with a fantasy setting, since it will open up a lot of creative avenues for you. It'll be interesting seeing the sexual transformations you can inflict with magic. If you do return to the Fall universe though, I would love to see Admiral Anassis get corrupted. You can't show us a strong, stern women like her and not eventually let us transform her into a sexual plaything.

I was actually expecting that route to end with Margaret recommending the admiral take some time off to relax at one of the many luxurious resorts in the alliance . . . flying first-class of course!
Honestly, while it obviously wouldn't fit as well with how the route ends, I feel like Bianca's route not setting up you using her to infiltrate Section 7 was a missed opportunity.

I verified and Valdana 1.0 released around the same-ish period 2 years ago, with 2.0 releasing a few months later in early 2024. I guess this heavily depends on the size of the next title, but will it look like the same-ish release date of Valdana2.0, or will it be much later next year, more akin to Valkyrie?
Sorry to be this pushy this early, but I'm always excited for those releases and I'm (once again) pleasantly surprised by the shift to AI, especially after your words here and those at the end of the credits of Lamashtu.

I don't mind the fact that it is AI gen, the look is good and all. What I do worry about is the poses, actions, and situations being limited by what the models can do. There aren't LorAs for everything, and so the creativity I worry could be stifled by the fact that you just can't get a good generation of something. Just my two cents on the future.
