Currently I would say that it is not necessary, perhaps it would be good to understand the relationships that have between the characters, who are couples, who are family or who are coworkers. I recommend you play the main game, it has a lot of content and in my point of view, very good... but if you want, I think that removing the end of the game, which features more characters that are presented in the main game, should not be a problem for you. problem starting it without having played LLS.

I'm sure this has been asked before, but what is the connection between this game and the other Laura game? Which one was developed first? Are they the same continuity? I just wanna know which order to play them in.

Except for some of the characters between both game being same, there is no other connection. If you know all the characters of LLS , you can play LIA first if you want. If you don't know the characters, then I suggest playing LLS chapter 1 first.

LIA was actually was supposed to be a small event in LLS but dev liked the event so much, he ended up making it a seperate game. Only order is for LLS chapter 1 ( currently in rpgm but remastered version in renpy coming soon), then LLS chapter 2.

LLS = Laura Lustful Secrets
LIA = Laura Island Adventures

Dev said Updates would go back and forth. LLS Pt 2 got an update that ended up being two parts, and that LIA would get an update after. Then dev said they were remaking LLS Part 1 in renpy (on the side, while also working on LLS and LIA). Let's face it, LIA isn't getting an update anytime soon. Dev split themselves up between too many games. To make matters worse, we got another fucking seasonal update that serves no purpose. Dev is overworking between three things. Quit remastering your older games until you have enough time.

Actually, I love the island genre more than LLS. I would suggest creating a new game instead of remastering the old one, which most of them have already experienced. It feels like the dev is missing an opportunity to tap into their great potential with LIA game

He said that he will try to end LIA and Chapter 1 Remake this year so hopefully 2026's development cycles will go smoother.
