In the remake, I only got to where she sees her husband with the other woman, then it said end of that version, so I think Chapter 2 picks up after the original version of Chapter 1 where yea, she has a bunch of extramarital sex.

Sure, I played Chapter 1, and it ends with her catching her husband with someone else or something.

But in Chapter 2, she's at home talking about how she's slept with everyone and the guy who lives with her—James, I think his name is—so there's something I missed.

yeah you miss full Chapter 1... what i see chapter 1 remake isnt complete so if you want complete chapter 1 you must play RPGM version

Anyone who's finished the RPGM version, how do you access the map events section? the walkthrough says I need it for a beach thing to continue the game?

I didn't find anything in the game that the log shows. It's weak content and features the same events as the previous version, just a few new scenes, but nothing extraordinary.
There are many things that need to be improved in the game.
The events between Emma and the priest at the church.
The events between Emma and Zoe at the spa.
It's full of good events that were forgotten. They were something introduced in previous versions and, instead of being continued, were left behind as if they weren't part of the game.
In my opinion, I think everything in the game should have a beginning, a middle, and an end... what I mentioned about Emma, the priest, and Zoe only had a beginning, and then I thought it would be introduced in this version, but nothing.

It's not telling you to find "Map Events" in the game. It is telling you to look at a different section of the walkthrough itself.
