Hi, thought I'd share something some of you might be interested in.

When Dark Anu and I first started talking about porting Chapter 1 to Ren'Py, I first thought he'd want the existing RPGM content ported with the UI changed to match chapter 2, but what he is actually creating is a complete remake/remaster. It's almost wholly animated, and all in 1080p. While that will take more time, it does look fantastic, I promise you.

However, I do have the original RPGM Chapter 1 mostly playable in Ren'Py, so I spent some time polishing up the first part of it and have made it available for download on my Patreon (with Dark's blessing) - you can join for free:

What this is:
  • The first section of the original RPGM game in Ren'Py (15% or so)
  • Exactly the same content as the original, only with a UI similar to Ch 2, and some fixed up dialog

Hey thank you for your work that's really kind of you. I was wondering can you make it for android too ? If not it's ok.

animation takes a long time to load

I'm getting stuck in the game because of a glitch. At some point when i was playing the game, Laura suddenly got 2 sprites with 2 different outfits. I tried fixing it at the time but nothing worked, so i just kept playing since it wasn't actually obstructing the game. But now I think it's got me soft locked. I'm at the part where Sam and David are throwing a bachelor party, and Laura catches them talking about it in the kitchen. She goes up to Samuel to question them, and normally David is supposed to excuse himself and leave. But now, because Laura has double sprites, the 2nd sprite follows and blocks in front of David, making him unable to leave and the scene can't progress. (This is really just my speculation of the reason why it's stuck, since I can't fully confirm it at the moment).

Does anyone know what I can do for this?

I had this glitch. Glitch happens because Laura in dress blocks David. Unfortunately I could not find the solution, so the only thing is to load the save, where you still have 1 Laura (w/o duplication) and check walkthrough in order not to create this duplication again

Hi - thanks for the feedback. I think I have a fix for you: would you do me a favor and download this scripts.rpa:

Then place it into your game folder, overwriting the one in there, and then let me know if the animations load okay for you?
