There's probaby a good reason for it. We just have to wait and see. She's too close to the MC without there being a good reason for it.I lost a lot of my interest when i learned Lana isn't a LI
It just feels weird that a girl who you end up having to bunk with, is at least physically attracted to and has seemingly good chemistry with the MC isn't an option. There's probaby a good reason for it. While it's weird, it's definitely pretty interesting from a design standpoint, I can't think of any other games off of the top of my head that has sprung a character like that on the MC without them being an LI.It just feels weird that a girl who you end up having to bunk with, is at least physically attracted to and has seemingly good chemistry with the MC isn't an option.
Interested to see what it could be, maybe MisterMaya is planning on her dropping out soon
I can think of a VN where the LI was a travelling partner of the MC, has sex with him, and then gets written out for a while so other things can happen to the MC. LI comes back, reconnects, then leaves over story events, never to return. Angered quite a few because she seemed like she was written to be a main LI but ended up not being one. While it's weird, it's definitely pretty interesting from a design standpoint, I can't think of any other games off of the top of my head that has sprung a character like that on the MC without them being an LI.
Alright THAT'S a weird one. Having a yo-yo LI that turns out to be not an LI is kind of a mistake honestly, if you're going to write a compelling character that turns out to be not an LI, you kinda need to go about it in the right way and not roller-coaster that shit. Atleast in my opinion.I can think of a VN where the LI was a travelling partner of the MC, has sex with him, and then gets written out for a while so other things can happen to the MC. Out of curiosity, what VN is that? Doesn't ring a bell.
I always wanted to try that one but reading this makes me less inclined to do so if im being honest nowI can think of a VN where the LI was a travelling partner of the MC, has sex with him, and then gets written out for a while so other things can happen to the MC. Huh, I do remember scrolling past that game but never checked it out.Ellaria.
Thankfully there is no chance of that getting pulled here. I'm kinda glad Lana was upfront about things and didn't try to string it along and then drop it right before the ending as some kind of twist.
Removing her from the LI pool allows her to get used in a lot of ways that won't come with the backlash of "you harmed/killed/affected" my LI in some way.
tbh I still have and playing a Lana save even tho I know she isn't a LI officially. It just helps me sleep better at night to not think about it and act like she is one despite the facts. That and im hoping this dev's pulls one of those cards ive seen in other AVN's with certain LI. Where a side girl is technically a side girl but she has a big enough role and path that she is more in the middle between side and main even if she doesn't get an ending id be happy with that much.Huh, I do remember scrolling past that game but never checked it out.
Yeah, I mean it's definitely interesting and opens up a few doors in terms of storylines that the dev can do. Lana in general is a really well written character and it was a great idea to keep things upfront in terms of communication, even if some people end up disappointed, they atleast won't feel betrayed by it.
#FreeTheNipple lol I hate pasties so much with images like this
I honestly expected the first comment to be about the feet not being in focus.#FreeTheNipple lol I hate pasties so much with images like this
I didn't even notice there was feet in the renderI honestly expected the first comment to be about the feet not being in focus.
