I don't know how many scumbags you've had to deal with because God knows this industry is full of milkers, but I'm not one of them, and neither is Ocean, who works very hard and gets shit by a lot of ignorant people who don't know the work that goes behind the curtain

dont take it too seriuously, please...my point was more on estimated game length, for which i do hope it wont be more than 5 episodes. otherwise you probably wont manage to finish it ever...which would be a shame considering its potential and quality.

btw, you shouldnt look up at ocean as a role model in that regard - the dude is almost everything one decent avn dev shouldnt be...i would even say that only two things are certain - everyone will die and he wont finish (nor even he will be close to it) neither of his projects/games.

at the end, wish you best luck with your project.

I thought he was very honest with his previous game, even though many of us were left wanting more at the end.

And this game will not have many chapters, because if you played the first one, you will see that the chapters are very long, so long that only Chapter 1 has to have more content than 4 or 5 chapters of other games.

So I don't know where the milking comes from, especially with a completed game .

Nothing worse than way too short 5 chapter avns. When you feel youre finally immersed its already over and everything felt pointless.

And some avn (esp leaning to the slice of life side) are possible to stay ongoing (as long as they get enough interest, why not) and can work flawlessly like that.

Yeah I personally hope it's more than 5 chapters. 5 Chapters to me just doesn't feel long enough for most games even if they have alot of content per chapter. With what I have played so far of this one, I feel 5 would be way to short and rushed with the amount of LI and what not.

I make your words mine. 5 would be very short, and having a college theme can let the game be long, even more with a college law theme, it doesn't look like as just a simple background, he can create a lot of content, a short game is a missed oportunity

Sure. I wouldn't be alive for the whole thing, but I find most AVN endings to be anticlimactic anyway. Give me a good story, fun characters, and keep me entertained along the way and I'm happy.

How I see it a AVN is like an anime or TV series I am along for the ride until it's cancelled 5 , 10 , 15 or 20 years doesn't matter to me. Of course id like to see any project finished. Unless a dev puts a stupid number of renders or does alot of story telling in each chapter. For me 5 chapters doesn't feel like it's enough for most AVN's out there to tell a story in full without making cuts to the story or rushing a ending in a significant way. Even more so when the AVN is more of a slice of life than story focused one and also the amount of LI does play a factor into that as well.

While that is my general opinion in reality I don't care. What matters is any dev feels like they were able to tell the story they wanted to tell length doesn't matter at all.

100% all that matters is you have fun and were entertained . so this is my stance as well. Honestly I hate endings too even if they are good cause if it's a series I enjoy it's sad as shit to think it's over and there is no more , especially when it's a slice of life.
