VN Ren'Py Law School [S2 Ep.4 v1] [MisterMaya]

I discovered this developer on Steam, so I can't really comment on the issue of being rushed, as I purchased the complete game and found it amazing. I don't agree with the idea that the game was made hastily. From what I recall, it has around four chapters and a final, extensive chapter with an incredible conclusion. However, if I had played the game gradually, my perception might have been different.

The endings for the last game felt very rushed and I feel like needed epilogues to make the feel complete. It was only a couple of pics for each ending after so much build up. Just needed more.

I found it normal, like most games released. I'll even reinstall it and see if my memory isn't deceiving me.

I agree with the other poster, it was super rushed and unsatisfying ...

... BUT the avn had some strange story flaws anyway so it maybe was better for us readers that he kinda wrapped it up quickly and started to develop a so far seemingly WAY better avn with his improved skills.

I think I understand the complaint. After the conclusion, the endings are limited to these scenes and don’t properly develop what happened with the MC and the chosen LI. It only shows that animation from file 6.

I would say it was a quick blitz through the "future" of the relationship, but that doesn't mean a rushed ending. I think there could have been a fair bit more content, and maybe that what makes some people say it felt rushed.

As far as Law School goes though, since that's the thread we're in, I'm really looking forward to it. I have a lot of updates to take me through to Christmas by the looks of it.

I'm hoping for (quite) a bit more development with some girls whose names aren't Rose or Lana though.

Every developer's first game serves as a learning experience. This week, I finally got a highly regarded game on Steam and decided to enable the developer commentary. Throughout the game, the developer shared the challenges they faced and how they learned along the way.

The developer of this game, just in these first two episodes, has, if I'm not mistaken, delivered three times the amount of work compared to their entire previous game.

I am positivly surprised. Stuning visuals, nice, engading story and even you get actual info about the topic of the classes in collage you are (as MC) attending. As soon as I have finished I chapter added this to wishlist on Steam

In which part are you stuck? For now, it's unlikely you'll get help here. Wouldn't it be better to check with the dev on Discord or Patreon?

Probably the old "persistent" will also interfere, just in case you need to delete all the content in:

C:\Users\"YourName"\AppData\Roaming\RenPy\LawSchool-1691093132

(Replace "your name" with your PC username without quotes).

I started a new game and the phone was definitely buggy in Ep 2. First of all a lot of times you will complete a conversation chain and then when you go back to main phone screen it's still showing the red exclamation that there is a new message from that person so you have to open the conversation and close it again to get the notification to go away to continue the game.

I also ran into an issue with Rose's conversation where it acted weird and dead ended when she asked you about ditching:
1) I was at the movie.
2) Choose the "Trust me" option and don't tell her about Aurora
3) Sorry Rose I'll make it up you. (The second dialogue option doesn't even make sense as it mentions the bet with Aurora when you did not tell her about Aurora with your first two choices?)
4) The Sorry Rose I'll make it up to you option did not go away after her next message although you can't actually click on it again. But the game thinks the conversation is not completed and it is impossible to complete without rolling back/reloading a save.

Now I get that technically this isn't the conversation I was supposed to have, since it doesn't unlock the pic, but dead end bugs are still bad.
