Hey Jafo, no it won't be necessary, though some apps of the phone won't display all the info you'd have if you started from scratch, but old saves will work
Just started this, and sadly i already hate the girl that i wanted to go for, Aurora, as soon as i met her. At least judging by first impressions. She reminds me of Paige from devs previous game appearance wise plus she's a redhead and i love redheads. But i guess will see how things go in this one

She gets worse and worse for me, but some people think she's getting better for them. So you might be good.
If not, there's 4 other redhead MG to choose from (with 5 of the 9 MG being red).

just wait till you play Chapter 2. I hated Aurora to but chapter 2 changed my mind completely on her she went from the worst girl to the best for me

I didn't like Aurora too at the beginning, but after chapter 2 she really grew on me, a little bit more and she will compete with Elsa and Lana (yep, I know she is not a LI)
Andrea’s clearly a bad influence - we need to split them up. Maybe plant someone else’s basketball on her and let the cops do their thing
