That is a pretty common theory. We know Mike is adopted as well. Seeing how much this game seem to love small world theory, I wouldn't be too surprised if that was the case and they were adopted because of some other case by Jordan Peters than what we learn about in episode 4.

We seem to have now learned about probably 2 major cases with Jordan Peters (at least in the eyes of MC), but we have yet to learn how Jordan seems to know MC parents so well.. MC's really keeping us up in suspence with this whole adoption thing... I wonder if we finally meet MC's mother in ep 5, or if it will only be focussed up and around the party (I already know at least two other games that did this) and we won't meet MC's mother officially until ep 6...

I assume the woman at the end of the ep was his mother maybe that meeting will happen in 5 instead of pushing it another ep

Yeah, but currently she's only spying on MC (and his friends) and the meeting isn't until after the party (if MC decides to go to it, which I'm pretty sure he will with no choice to the player). It's very possible that we learn something while meeting her that will lead cliffhanger for season 3. If not, I'm wondering why we didn't have the meeting in ep 4 after the cliffhanger of season 1.

- Miri: her illness is way more severe or her parents arranged a marriage or something like that ( not uncommon even nowadays)
- i would bet the woman IS not MC mom but a detective, if you pay atention we can see that woman at the lingerie store too
- Aurora would prob keep quiet to force Elsa oweing her a favour for keeping her secret.

I would bet MC mom is from a wealthy family and pregnant being a minor or "by accident" but she wanted to keep the baby, so her parents make a move to get her kid into MC family ( this is Jordan Peters conection, he made all the legal papers)

It would be a dumb move to leave a clifhanger like that with all of us already seen "mom" face, pretty sure she is not.

1. I think Miri’s illness is more serious than we may think. (As Kuranro95 mentioned)

2. I mentioned this last season about Lana’s secrecy, which makes me question her a bit. Doesn’t excuse Andrea being a bad person, but I want to get both sides of the situation.

3. My gut tells me that’s not her mother. I agree we may find out who she is in ep6. If I remember correctly, if you’re on Olive’s path, she can investigate for you about the mother, so who knows, I could be wrong.

4. I don’t have an answer yet for Elsa and Aurora

No, I seriously don't get this. You're acting as if the dictionary is the end all be all for personality traits when you should damned well know people are more complicated than a dictionary. Good point, that’s kind of how I see it too. If that woman really was the mother, it wouldn’t make much sense for her to risk showing up early, especially after saying they can't meet until November 1st. Plus, with Olive offering to investigate and Aurora asking if you googled her, you'd expect some kind of recognition. So I’m leaning toward the idea that she isn’t the mom, but we’ll probably get more clarity in Ep6. Ep5 will most likely focus on the Lake House party and the potential drama we’ll run into with the LIs during it.

I just clean unzipped and imported from there. Did you try mods from the start?
