Morning everyone!
Last week turned out better than expected, even though it started off pretty rough.
I ran into some annoying issues with the game on Steam. Achievements were not loading, and after troubleshooting for quite a while without success, I had to contact support and lost time in the process. On top of that, I had a library sync problem with a new asset I purchased, which forced me to reopen multiple scenes and fix things manually. That ate up even more time.
Then a few real-life matters piled on, leaving me with a busy and exhausting start to the week. By the weekend, I had barely passed 100 renders, which felt discouraging considering how many hours I had put in.
But Saturday things finally shifted in a good direction. I kitbashed an environment for the scene I am working on. It took me about two hours, but it gave me a huge boost of momentum. So much so that I cranked out over 100 renders this weekend alone. A few people on my server teased me, saying I would not hit 200 this week, and honestly, nothing gets me going more than spite. Thanks to that, I ended up having a fantastic weekend that really salvaged the week.
Here are the numbers:
- Static renders: 1,435
- Animations: 20
- Story content: 24 scenes written (20,295 words)
That is
213 new renders since last week, which I consider a solid number. I also believe I have passed the 50 percent mark for this episode’s content. Finishing Day 3 will be the milestone that seals it. My plan is to wrap up the big scene of Day 3 today, move on to the LEWD section tomorrow, and focus on animations throughout the rest of the week. Once that is done, I will tackle a short scene to close out the day, with the goal of moving into Day 4. It is ambitious, and the LEWD part might be tricky, but I am ready for the challenge.
Speaking of LEWD scenes, the very first one I made myself has finally finished rendering, and I have to say it looks pretty good. I am happy with how it turned out, and that is giving me extra motivation to knock out the next one.
That is it for this week’s update. I will get back to work now. I may not reach 200 renders this week, but I plan to make up for it with a healthy batch of animations instead.
