Thanks Berna, out of curiosity how time consuming is it to add audio? I am kind of thinking of trying to do it as well, I was wondering how doable it is, his archive is quite something and going back and adding it to everything that doesn't have it seems... daunting as hell but maybe worth the effort.

Depends on the content of the scene, and the video. The more penetrations the male actor is doing on a single clip, the more I have to locate the exact frames their bodies tap onto each other in order to place the 'plap' sound effect. The more times the female actor is opening her mouth, the more moans you have to insert.

Slow handjob videos are the easiest - fast pussy pounding are the hardest. The hardest clips in the Yorha Commander movie were the close-ups of her face as she's getting pounded, because I didn't have a clear visual clue of when the 'plapping' occurs (because I have no view of their genitalia) and had to use her shoulders or head bobbing as a visual cue. The last two clips where she is getting pounded really fast were also time-consuming.

You also have to keep an eye (or ear in this case) for the SFX and the moans to have the same volume more or less between files. SFX (plaps, taps, slurps, shuffles) usually sound lower than the moans. And the moans themselves tend to have a wide range of volume which I ended up editing (usually raising the volume in very low moans so that they can be heard more easily, or when you have to amplify the woman's breathing to add to the horny factor).

That said, I found the whole process incredibly satisfying and rewarding. There's a sense of accomplishment where you DIY something you would otherwise beg or pay other people to do for you that cannot be easily matched.

It took me around 150-180 hours to make this movie - BUT, I had to sit down and write dialogue, I had to use A.I. to create voices for said dialogue, I had to create multiple video versions of most clips in order to make zoom-ins and slow motions, I had to create animations with the character speaking and try to make it go along with the voice files, etc.

If I had to do just the sex animations sounds, I think it wouldn't have taken more than 80 hours. That may sound a LOT, but keep in mind the Yorha movie of Lazy's had like 36 scenes.

I am slowly starting on working with the nun Aerith videos Lazy made last week, but I may not make a movie with those and may just make the sounds for the animations. It's just 7-8 clips, so I doubt it'll take me more than 10 hours to make these.

But you still have to find, buy, download or make the sounds yourself for the videos, so that's more work as well.

Just wanted to say it feels nice to see someone else put into words why making audio for videos is satisfying and rewarding, I started adding audio to videos a few months ago and it's been great getting things to line up and making it sound good. Finding new sources of audio SFX and voices as well is also very fun when you start to imagine which voices are good for what situations etc. Keep doing what you are doing

The low, soft, slow moans are created in ElevenLabs - they do their job pretty well for handjobs, for slow fingering and generally for scenes the female actor's not getting pounded. But once I got to the more hardcore ones, I had to find/buy more professional audio in order to make it sound more believable.

I don't think I need to check on 0039 to know what you are talking about - you probably have a problem when White is closing her mouth and smiling and her voice stops the 'UH! AAH! UNH UNH!' in order to make calmer 'mmm!' moans. Yeah, I can see the contrast. (to make it clear - the pounding moans are 'real', the low mmms are A.I.)

I'll use different audio and make new versions for that one.

The AI stuff in general is going to be polarizing for a long time until people can't distinguish the difference between it and the real thing. From what I understand this is your first foray into adding audio to clips, so there's gonna be growing pains. Like your first project isn't gonna be perfect, so you just keep learning from here. But I ain't complaining about getting something for free. Its better than no sound at all for something thats been out for months and it seemed like no one was working on it.

For the most part the sound effects were fine for the Commander video, its just the moans and voices that are probably drawing up the uncanniness. You probably don't want to hire a voice actress to do the voice overs since that'll cost a lot of time and money, but if you want to improve the moans and what not you can probably look into grabbing the moan sound packs by the various NSFW voice actors out there. That's what most of the people who add audio to the animated clips dude like Audiodude, they literally just reuse the same packs over and over again(from various VAs) depending on which character fits what voice. Only the animators looking for specific dialogue/lines need to hire the VA for voiceover work.
You have to use AI if you want to tell your stories without needing to hire a VA, but using the soundpacks that the actual VA have out there will definitely improve the sound for the non-ai voiced clips.

The other thing I can probably point out if you want to improve or add to your audio work: add ambient noise/room tone. Even when you're in a room by yourself and everything is off and no one is talking, there is ambient noise/room tone. In the first scene that you have with her walking in, the door opening and the echoing of the heels in the empty room are great and help set up the scene that its just you and her. But a lot of the other scenes feel off. Your brain can kinda tell that things are weird when its absolutely silent outside of the added noises(this is why boom operators just record the set silent for a bit). You can see the scene and hear the sex but it sounds like its happening in a void, having room tone would tie the audio together and make it feel like its part of a cohesive scene.

Ok then thats the uncanniness that I'm getting since the version I'm watching was the 12:47 one with the clips with no ambient sound stitched together.
But yeah do look into the voicepacks from the nsfw va's if you feel like it. You can find them on the K-site for the ones I mentioned if you want to look at their quality.
