It's great that you're so open minded, I'm sure blender knowledge will be useful when applied to Daz. Daz is pretty easy to learn and if you look at the top games on this site they are either using daz or honey select.

So using Daz you will surely be able to make gorgeous renders and your dream game!

Yes, we have quite an exhausting relationship with Blender when it comes to rendering; it takes a lot of time, and it seems that the community didn't really appreciate the results. So, switching to Daz or other applications early on might be a good option for us. There's no harm in trying. What we initially hoped for was to gain enough support from people to access better equipment and artists, but we haven't received a single bit of support. It seems people's expectations are very different.

We have a very long script, starting with heavy comedy, moving into more adventure-focused sections, and becoming more erotic towards the end. Despite clearly stating that the demo we released is not a finished product and that we're still in development, it was harshly criticized, which has been somewhat discouraging. We accept the critiques — they open the door to improvements, and we know that. However, it's quite interesting to see that independent developers working on their first game are expected to suddenly match the quality of the high-end games published here.

Moral support is also important. They might not see any potential to support our game, but we believe developers should be given a chance. Thank you for your interest

If you're going for the supporters route it's not a good idea to do what you feel is good and you enjoy doing, but instead to do what other people want.

Even if you have to work 10x harder than others by making it in blender, in the end it doesn't mean anything if players don't get aroused by the renders.

If you want supporters, you need to go for something really freaky. that you know some people aren't getting enough of.
Let's say NTR which I personally hate, make that your thing. Or girls with cocks. Or incest... (there's a lot of this but people love it)

I actually tried your game, despite disliking the renders.

The writing is good during sex scenes, there were lots of parts which I skipped though.

You will be compared to games that are already succesful, because nobody actually cares if it's your first game or anything.
They care about their own kinks and the graphics. The writing doesn't always have to be amazing, but that's your strongest point as of now.


My final advice: -use daz or honey select (or maybe even 2d if it's possible, but blender isn't gonna work this way)
-improve the game menu and ui and texts like at the start and end with the white text on black background, very amateurish
-rerelease your game with only 30 minutes of gameplay, you don't need 2 hours in the first release...

the 500 hours of reading gameplay is just a horrible decision, i don't even know why on god's earth you would think of doing that. Making less gameplay time and more quality is way better.

Maybe we should reconsider everything before continuing to develop further. Aside from the render quality, perhaps our story may not be as engaging as we thought for this market and target audience. What you wrote in the first paragraph might be a very accurate observation. However, since we don’t know what people like and producing a story in that framework seems somewhat like ‘made to order,’ I’m not sure if we can do it properly. This game was not intended to be a purely pornographic game from the start; it was thought of more as a comedy-oriented game that includes such elements because this is the type we can have fun creating and writing. Once again, thank you for taking the time and for your thoughtful critique.

As a player who doesn't pick on graphics styles, I like the different aesthetics of different art styles, but the MC of this preview made me feel too rough, and I feel better if I used blue transparent people directly.The faces of female characters are not attractive enough, and I personally feel that I can learn from -MIST-The treatment of the face shape in this work

a word of caution. if you go "freaky", lets say ntr or futa, the key word is that it is enjoyed by SOME people. and that SOME people is a very very VERY small pool. Imagine "Modern Audience" kind of small.
A good example on how this can go, is Concord
Further more you will be branded as that "freaky" content's creator and it will follow you, (along with the "some" people).

just a few things to keep in mind, the decision is ultimately yours.

on the technical note, I believe blender is a powerfull tool and you shouldnt shy away from it, rather just incorporate it in your pipeline. there is a free addon that will welp you combine daz and blender with extremely good results. A good example/inspiration/source for information, is In A Scent.w
there are things that you can do in blender that are too bothersome in daz and things you can do in daz that are too bothersome in blender, but a combination of these two is a great way to go.
do a little bit of research, cause you obviously have some knowledge, at least more than I do who even with my limited experience can manage a simple render like the one bellow

Thank you for your feedback. The demo was downloaded a few thousand times, but since we didn’t receive a single financial contribution, we assumed people didn’t enjoy it, and we’ve temporarily paused development due to a lack of motivation. We initially thought people might support us financially a bit, which would allow us to continue improving the game. However, since we didn't earn anything, both my team and I felt demotivated, as we're independent developers without other income sources. We’ll reconsider development once we’re in a better financial position. Thanks to everyone.
