Ok at the risk of this being a stupid question - all that talk earlier about the music doesn't matter if we are planning on staring new games, right?
Oaky thanks I don't really care about what music is in there so I will just take whatever is there after I throw Sancho's mod in.

Well, understand that ultimately there's a large group of folks that want all the old music back in.... but that's for another day. I've set the groundwork for it to happen though... it just won't be right now (from me).
well its the urgent matter for me, to be honest, i dont use mods that often, only from time to time, like for renaming the MC when the game doesnt have that option, or the music of a game is bad or non existent and there is a good mod for it... (intertwined for example)
I love LoF like it is... of better said, was... the new music is just unbareable. So i hope you manage to bring back the old music. i guess in chapter 8 the music drifty has chosen works better, dont know about that, i didnt play that far cause the new music prevent me from doing so... old saves didnt work (not that much a problem for me, wanted to start over anyways) i started over and the new music just killed it for me and i stopped at the scene where the gang goes on the plane (until there the new music ruined already so many awesome scenes, i coudlnt stand it anymore)... if there is a chance to get back the old, with the pefect fitting mood and set up to the scenes like it was, ill wait paitently.
So i would appreciate it if you can keep us up to date about bringing back the old music to chapter 1-7... if youre able to do so or not. Thank you very much upfront.

Well bud, no one on the planet started doing anything about it until I at least started getting folks at grip of what was going to be required. It has to start somewhere but this is not popcorn in a microwave. It'll take time. It's not like the dev's of these VN's pushout updates of their product daily... you know there's more to it than pushing one button and things are done. I'm just saying keep perspective. I won't stop updating the multi-mod to do the music swap first though, that's out of the question as I mod for me and that's my personal priority list for the VN. I'm not trying to be ugly if it reads that way, just being honest really. There's really no such thing as an "urgent matter" when we're ultimately talking about cartoon porn anyway, right?

I am perfectly aware that this takes time, weeks, months... doesnt matter to me... "urgent matter" was more regarding to the fact that i just only care about the old music really, i will not play the game if i know i can get it back until i get the old music back...
If youre not able to bring it back, so be it and i will play the game just without music, but in LoF there is a big part of the quality missing without it. One of the very very few games out there where the music is nearly essencial i would say. At least how the music was in Chp 1-7 before...
Your effort and work cant be appreciated enough i think, especially how you communicate with all us living-under-the-bridge-trolls is amazing, so cheers and thanks for that

Depends entirely on the AVN. I do like emotional scenes.. and the correct music choice for those can amplify it exponentially.

There are two games I listen to the music in the background (In fact there are only two games I've ever played with the sound on!) Love of Magic and Leap of Faith.

Normally I'd agree with you. I mean, it's just porn right? LOF is kind of on another level (to me anyway). It is totally a sign of respect for what you do that I am looking at the tempting CH8 and NOT playing it until you are done
I am starting to think I am the only degenerate that enjoys his porn VNs the way the silent era films used to be (you know, you put your own music). As long as this VN does not have those moaning sounds that seems like a dying animal I will dig out an old version to try.

There are quite a few games that have soundtracks that make their gameplay better, but there are a million or so that just have noise that distracts you when you are trying to read.
