See I think that's a little annoying because I already missed a few scenes, not any important ones, but still missed some things because my stats weren't high enough from choices with other girls. How can I be sure I make the right choices in order to see as much as possible without fucking it up?

Several playthroughs; one for each main girl, plus a few for threesomes, cheating and non-cheating.
Still have the problem with missing scenes. How far can I go without getting busted for flirting too much? I already missed one scene early in the game because I was trying not to start any of the other girls paths. I know it doesn't really apply early in the game since you aren't in any relationships yet but what about later in the game when I need points for something and don't have it? I could just play through for one girl and miss a whole bunch of extra stuff, but I want to be able to have the points for things.

my problem is that I don't know what I can and can't do for points. it seems like a lot of the actions that gain you points in certain attributes are tied to furthering your relationship with that character, I'm trying to do only one path so I ignored the others as much as possible but then I miss out on having enough points to see some content

That's why I said "walkthrough" first. It would tell you what do to so you won't miss anything.
I don't understand what you mean by "I'm trying to do only one path", because basically, you can only do one path per playthrough, so when the choices matter, you are already on that girl path.
But like I said, use the walkthrough and you will be good tho.
What I mean by that is I don't want to accidentally start more than one path and deal with cheating and stuff. So its hard to know what I can and can't do to gain points while not cheating.

Technically, you can't cheat.
The game would force you to choose one girl pretty early in game.
But, without spoiling, there is kinda a "cheating" route for someone but yeah, it's more like an obscure route (you need the walkthrough anyway to do it).
So I can just do whatever I want and then pick whoever? Good to know (kinda exactly what I asked in the first place but that's not your fault, you just joined the convo)

After a few play-throughs, you might consider the multi-mod found in the first post. It has a feature where stat changes from choices are listed in game, and enables you to name your saves if you want
Yeah I still don't get it. I keep missing out on scenes and extra points because I don't know what I should or shouldn't do. Even with the walkthrough I don't know which options I should be choosing in order to have enough points for the scenes that require them. Honestly it's terrible game design for a VN, having two different point systems, both for the girls and for your personal attributes, makes this absolutely unplayable imo. I want to have a fun time with the story, not calculate the route I need to take in every conversation in order to meet point requirements. I actually tried to do some stuff on the side to increase some of the attributes but I still didn't have enough, so obviously I should have chosen something different, but how am I supposed to know exactly what I'm going to need in the future? It just doesn't make sense
Sure...."terrible game design"......"absolutely unplayable".....that's probably why this game has well over 12,000 posts / comments, most of them praising the game and the developer for his work...but since you are having trouble, despite multiple people giving you advice, it must be the game's fault maybe this just isn't the game for you and you should try something with fewer paths or choices in order to see everything.

all of this shit you wrote is literally you not being to follow a step by step walkthrough of the entire game. and, like, it sounds like a you problem, since everyone else seems to not even remotely suffer so heavily from this issue.
i mean, can you read, bruv? cause that's literally the only skill requirement for the walkthrough.
............. or just download the multi mod from the link in the OP and it'll dumb down the game into a "click to decide whether or not, or how to fuck this chick" simulator.

You can't do/get/see everything in one play through. It's not that kind of game.
You can maximize your points towards a particular girl/pair in a playthrough if you use the walkthrough/walkthrough mod(s) to plan ahead, but once you make your choice at the beginning of chapter 4, you're locked in on the path you choose (EVEN if you choose the one "cheating" path, you still have to pick the correct girl to get started on that path).
The only way to do/get/see everything is to do multiple playthroughs ... at least 15 of them to be precise (that's LITERALLY everything btw ... 95% of the content only needs 8 playthroughs, 90% only needs 7)
You can have fun and complete a playthrough with almost any girl regardless of whether you use a walkthrough though, you just won't see as much as if you do.
Just started this game, has to be good if there's a Sancho mod for it. Looking forward to this (finished 8 other games so far this year so my selection was getting smaller)

At the end of Chapter 1 in the summary, I see this, so the implication is there are three bonus scenes to that point? I just saved Cece. I checked the fan walkthrough and I see no mention of an additional 2 bonus scenes (though I could be mis-reading it) :-
