No her jumping is unavoidable.
ive played dozens of times, my wife has played the game. I am almost 60 and i cry every time .
And the crying is two fold one thinking what drifty went through and how great the writing is that it gets to me.

Reading thread i for sure don't want Steph she is trash, Linda is tainted it seems and now no Cece the other li's look like they wont appeal to me as well. I would like to play for the story this game comes highly recommended downloading now.

Steph is not trash in my opinion. She is madly in love with the mc . Her path is the second best in my opinion with lexi a very close 3rd.

Good for you liking Steph, but in my case I didn't even give her a single chance. That woman just broke MC heart to pieces and ghosted him, I couldn't forgive anybody if that was me. So, even when she reappeared I just cut her out of my life. I was healed before she decided to appear again and wanted to take it further where she left....no way.

Take this from someone old, that made mistakes and paid for them. Taking the chance to understand and listen, even if you never go back that road, is better for you.

You should replay with Steph. It's a GREAT story, very much worth the trouble.

Cece is the story, Steph is the story, Linda is the Story, Lexi is the story... and do yourself a favor, and don't let a WT ruin your first run.

I personally felt the same on my first play through about being ghosted by her and didn't want to give her the time of day, but after playing through Cece, Lexi, Linda, and Robin's routes, I gave hers a chance and about midway through her route I had to go back and start over and not have sex with Robin because the story is so good that it turned things around on me and had me feeling guilty for having slept with Robin at the first so I actually replayed steph's whole route without sleeping with Robin, and it's a beautiful route. They all are.

I was 49 first time I played LOF all the way through. I cried like a baby multiple times. I have played every route now, and the only difference is that I now find myself begining to tear up even earlier because I know what's coming. But, then again, I also cry when I play my game and I wrote it, lol

This is the first game that made me cry like a baby.

I recently finished my second play-through of leap of faith. My first path was with Lexi and my second was with Linda.

On the Lexi path I was able to match Linda and Chris together. Thus the game ended on a reasonably happy note. Cece was going though treatment for her depression and had reconnected with her family. Steph and Holly didn’t end up with a romantic partner, but I consider them to be the most emotionally resilient of the group. They were more able to cope with just being friends with the MC and his friend group. Kira and Robin had each other and didn’t need the MC as more then a friend.

What I wasn’t prepared for was the unhappiness that awaited me on the Linda path. I set Chris up with Holly and they seemed to be happy. Linda was happy to be with the MC, but Lexi broke my heart with her display of unhappiness. She started crying on the yacht when talking to Holly in chapter 5 and cried later on the plane flying the MC home.

The last scene in the last chapter on the Linda path was the worst gut-punch. Linda and the MC is watching TV and the news anchor announces that Lexi is burnt out and retiring. I felt like a peace of shit as i thought about what the MC had done. When Lexi called the MC in chapter 3, the MC knew that Lexi was interested in him as a potential boyfriend. As long as the MC accepted Lexis invitation to visit her at her house in LA, in my opinion he implicitly accepted that he would try to date her even if it wasn’t explicitly mentioned.

I’m not sure I have the stomach to do a play-through with Steph and Cece after seeing Lexi's unhappiness on the play-through with Linda. And that is without even mentioning Cece’s struggles with depression.

Even though this is a fictional story this game conjures up feelings as if the events were real.
