which pose presets did you use here?
Oh... not 100% sure but I think it was .

And I wanted to ask you before... did you change the Face of the MC of LoF? He really looks way off then in the Game... really strange look, sorry.

Yeah, that might be the case then. He really looks strange - LOL - like a complete different Character somehow.
You might choose a different expression in the future... ;) :p

I think that Wolverine might be right about the possibility that there's some issue affecting that character. In fact, now that I've had another look at your recent posts, it's likely that there are rogue morphs affecting your male characters, since they all seem to share some common face morphs.

If you want to check it, with the figure selected in the Scene pane, check the 'Currently used' tab of the Parameters pane. Also, in the Parameters pane, enable this option: Preferences>Show Hidden Properties. See then if some unwated morph(s) are listed as 'Currently used'.

If you find that there are indeed rogue morphs affecting your LOF MC, next step should be checking if the same happens with other Genesis 8 males from your library. Most likely, the issue should repeat itself.

Then, there's a procedure, which I'm quoting below, that should reset any figure from a particular generation and gender (except Genesis 9, which is neutral gender) to their original condition. I completed those steps once, quite some time ago, and it worked flawlessly for me. But I also was said by someone else who followed that procedure throughout that in his particular case, instead of fixing the issue, it got worse. So follow it at your own risk.

Easiest way to handle these;
1. Load your base figure or the developer version.
2. Zero the figure
3. Memorize the figure
4. File->Save As->Support Asset->Save Modified Assets
This procedure will zero the default value in the ill-behaving morph.

Still, in the case you finally decide to go with the steps above, don't hesitate to ask if you are not sure about how to proceed in a particular step.

like i told WolverineCTX, i redownloaded and reinstalled the Callan HD model and here it is when loaded:

and i'm not sure what to look for but as far as i know, the currently used tab shows nothing outside of callan morphs being used. so idk how to proceed.

I see. Definitely, there's something modifying his facial features.

For reference, this is how stock Callan HD looks when loaded into my viewport.

Now, judging from your screenshot, I am not sure if you enabled 'show hidden properties', under the Parameters pane. If you did not, please do so like this (you must have Callan selected in the Scene pane):

show_hidden_properties.jpg

After I make the program show the hidden properties, I can see three hidden morphs appearing listed under the 'Currently used' for Callan. One can distinguish hidden morphs because the header text looks grey, instead of white.

You must look for hidden morphs like those above that might be being applied to your Callan figure. Try disabling those, by putting their value at 0, to see if that fixes his appearance.

If you detect unwanted hidden morphs on Callan, you should also be able to detect them in his wingman, and probably in your other male Genesis 8 figures as well, including the base Genesis 8 male model. If that's what is actually happening, then the procedure I spoke to you above should help you fix the issue. But as it is somewhat delicate, if you are not sure how to proceed at any moment, it's better that you express any doubts here.

as you can see i did activate "show hidden properties":

and i don't see any other morphs besides the one callan uses:
1739565628475.png

nor there seems to be a problem with the genesis 8 basic male:

i honestly don't know what to do at this point...

Some sliders will also appear in the 'Shaping' tab, and not in Parameters, need to check there as well. Even your base Gen 8 model looks different.

Have you ever, by any chance, used the Save As > 'Character Preset' or 'Shape Preset'?
This is known to be an issue where DAZ applies that character shape to any character you load into your scene by default. If so, you'll need to remove or rename the generated preset files from DAZ' folder. Usually they go to somewhere like ( \Documents\DAZ 3D\Studio\My Library\data\DAZ 3D\Genesis 8 (Male/Female)\Morphs\) or so...

found the culprit, for some reason "percy head" was at 100% alongside callan head:
1739567657595.png

question is, why? i'm sure i never even touched that slider before.

EDIT: turns out i did save a character set back when i started using daz, my version of ARTEMIS's MC that uses the same Callan character model, as for the percy thing, it's still a mistery to me.

many thanks CHAQUINN0

Glad it worked out! :D

This is likely because back then you had Percy's head morph applied, and then it saved it as it was.
In order to fix it, you can either do what I mentioned above by removing the preset files you saved, or you can go to the morph slider itself, click on the cog icon > 'Parameters Setting' and look if the option "Auto follow" is ticked, if so, untick it.

This should solve your problem moving forward. :)

Glad that thanks to CHAQUINN0's experience and help, you could find and address what was causing the issue. :)

Valuable information, thanks. I was under the wrong assumption that the Parameters pane collected all relevant settings. I'm reserving a space for the shaping pane in my GUI from now on. :D

yep, now both James (LoF) and Aidan (ARTEMIS) look normal:
1739575223071.png

and an FYI, turns out the correct hair color for James' hair isn't the Frosty Pepper or Silver preset, but the Brown preset: 1739575584105.png
comparing to in game:
