Thank you for having the decency to inform players beforehand about the rape/child abuse unlike some devs that just drop it out of nowhere.
i'm gonna assume it will involve one of the Li by the way that you are being tight-lipped about it. I ain't gonna play because i just can't go through the rape/abuse ordeal but i wish you good luck with your game.

I dislike rape plots a lot, can you be more specific, does this happen to some of the Li's or some random girl?

And I just finished. This was really, really good. Beautiful renders and character designs, but above all an intruiging and intelligently written story. It is funny, mature, sad, touching and heart-wrenching and I can't wait to see more.

Ok, on a more serious note:
I didn't play the demo, so 0.1 is my first try.
So first things first: there is no lewd stuff in there. Not even naked skin. At least I didn't get to see any.
The modells are great and those the facial expressions are top notch - especially during conversations. You can see what their thoughts are (roughly at least) without needing to read it written down like it most VNs. The conversations are great, they feel very lifelike and, as far as I can tell, in flawless english.
The humor is great, well dosed. I really laughed loud a few times. Especially Armin is on fire with his stories.
The story itself is interesting and very original, at least around here. Feels like one of those better crime series on TV. It is told in a way that leaves no questions what is happening right now, even with flashbacks, which is something many developers mess up, some more, some less.
The music is original (and purely instrumental), and it always fits the scene imo. It is also used sparsly, which is fine.
Not many choices, but I can live with that in this case.
Two times you can ask a suspect two words which have to type in. The things I found out were

It's more like, when did he go to law school and get a degree. No one gets promoted from PI to lawyer. My mom used to gush over this guy. Never missed an episode. Saw a lotta Rockford Files while doing homework, if I wanted to or not. >.<

That is a total cop out many shows and movies fan out their running times with.
There is a plot and a Main Character who is supposed to run with that plot.
But it seems that novel is not enough, we hav ta have some other plots with
other characters just to fill the time in between glimpses of the main plot.
