Hey fellas, I feel like I've been watching this game forever. Thought I would share some news, Mearob is not dead.

"Hey guys, sorry about the wait. I've been in hiding trying to get this thing playable but developement has been hell. Performance is much better in unity but everything takes much longer to do right than in blender's integrated game engine. Hope you can all wait a bit longer :s"

Seems moving over to Unity has yielded much slower development, at least until he gets more comfortable with the engine. Worth the wait IMO, quality always succeeds over hasty content.

I was cruising around the web and found a screen of what i'm guessing was an earlier version of this game(?) the model looks kinda cute, so i was wondering if this one was ever released and if so does anyone have this version or knows where i can grab it? the site that had the pictures (lewdvrgames) just links to the newer one. :(

I check his twitter every so often to see if anything has changed or updated, but his last post is over a year old where he is apologizing for slow progress after switching the engine to unity. Nothing new since. His subscribestar is still active with 129 patrons, but no telling if he actually posts anything or if the project is dead. If anyone is subscribed to him, it would be great to hear that he is actually still working on it.

For what it's worth, this was posted on dec 18 2020 on a /3/ WIP thread, after being dissatisfied with unreal, he said he wanted to resume work in unity after new features were added. Pic attached was his style but looks unrelated to his sex game

hello! Its been a while. Im trying to learn unreal engine but it has been taking a while. Here is a test character :) I had to give up on the old unity project because it was becoming too complicated and limiting. Sorry to let you down on that one :(

Wow, at least he's alive and looking to continue working on this. I actually like the look of the model, and he always pulls through with the facial animations regardless.

he has revamped sub page, might be worth keeping an eye on and maybe show some support.
looks like UE5 is the next project with an animation demo incoming sometime soon.

every few months i checked on the guy, thought its really over, but i am happy to see he is back again, but who knows for how long... i guess a lot of people wont donate because he just disappears like this

so far the this one looks like the first one with better graphics, i am really looking forward to it

holy fuck hes back, hes been posting a lot of stuff on subscribe star and twitter. Hopefully we get a early build soon. TBH this might be the one vr porn game i might end up supporting

the expected happened, kinda abandoned again, the short videos were so promising, as usual, great facial animations, wich is my most important thing in a game like this

lets check back a few months later

" unreal engine 5 doesn't seem ready for shipping games yet. Its frustrating but some of the features aren't guaranteed to work after you package your project. For me, its the new control rig feature that does not seem complete yet. I wouldn't want to do this project without it because of the freedom in autonomous animation it provides. I'll keep checking for updates to see how things develop but for now I need to put production on hold or at least slow down drastically to figure out what to do about irl. I forgot how hard it is to run a patreon thing and balance real life. The city I live in is looking very dystopian and I'm worried things will get worse. I love working on this project but in order to get fully dedicated to it, I have a hard time living a routine life. I work whenever I feel inspired. I feel most inspired when I'm supposed to fall asleep which is not good for keeping a job. I will put together something eventually, but I have to make sure I am safe to be able to make art again. "
