Yes, at that time Win 98 was on the market. And if I remember right the first version of Win Me (Millennium), that was a bridge for Win 2000.

Maybe the only said "Windows" back then? 1st modern computer I had was XP. Of course getting it to work on 10/11 now had to take some doing. Who knows when 12 comes out. Will they skip 13 because "unlucky" or remember even numbered ones were bad and odd good (where vista would be "6", and other going back as expected, etc) - opposite of Star Trek OS movies? Sometimes getting a 10-15 YO game to work is a problem (esp if they used a sort of DRM that relies on something they don't include anymore), let alone 27 (without using an emulator for DOS or other computer types...)

Overview:
When we last saw our less-than-dashing hero, Leisure Suit Larry, he was in a rather sticky situation. Not one to be tied down, Larry makes the best of things by going on a cruise to forget the previous escapade. Once he arrives on the deck, he finds out there’s a Mega-Contest for the heart and body of one Captain Thigh, the sexiest sea captain this side of the Atlantic. Our hero must use his wits and wiles...wait, he’ll just cheat and “win” his way into the Captain’s bedroom. Set sail for steamy adventure on the high seas!

I actually bought this game when it was brand new on PC. Leisure suit Larry in the land of the lounge lizards was one of the first games I ever played on PC the game was parser interface, and if you know what that means then you're ancient too LOL

Wow has been ages I last played a Leisure Suit Larry Game from Sierra.
Had them all when they came out, and even rebought them on GOG some years ago.
