I'm a bit scared by some pictures showing drowning scenes. I hope violence isn't something the game focus on.
Not at all, she just gets rescued. I finished it yesterday, it's a very neat game. The story is your usual isekai with gathering/crafting gameplay and quite a bit of grind.

There's barely any character development and one scene per character +1 aoe (each with 3-5 cgs though). Yet I still loved it. The game just has a lot of opportunities for content and story development, but doesn't capitalise on it. I hope they'll expand it in the future. Feels like it ends after prologue.

Really loved the art though, like an old jrpg.

You do realise I'm talking about porn, yes?
Not real life. And those are two, very different things. I hope you know the usual reality vs fiction speech.

Being a man myself, I don't really care about who or what lesbians are in real life. That's up to lesbians, and I'm pretty sure there is vast diversity in opinions without adding mine (and I'm not adding mine, because once again, I'm not a lesbian, I'm not a woman, my "opinion" doesn't matter)

I'm not dictating anything. You live your life the way you want, "sweetie".

"Mine doesn't. Just thought I'd add that. And also that there are toys that can do it, too."

Good for you? I guess? Honestly, I didn't need to know that, that's quite the personal information there.
Then, "primary" function is a keyword here. it means it can be used for something else too. And also fail in that primary function.

"Also, "procure pleasure," really?"

Yes, that's literally why they exist, they are called sex-toy, so unless they are useful for reproduction, the only thing left is pleasure. And I'll let you know men use them too, they are not exclusive to women, and they are not exclusive to lesbians either. You can throw intimacy in it too if you want, but sex isn't always intimate, and in the case of solo use, I fail to see where the intimacy lies.

I know you are not a porn character but a real-life person.
I know real-life women are not porn characters.
I know trans people aren't porn characters.

I know real-life people have wants, needs, motivations, and things they like that are completely different from porn. it might be hard for you to consider, my real-life needs and my sexual life are completely different that what you can see in porn too.

I also know porn is NOT real life.

But we are not talking about real life here, we are talking about fiction.

Someone said penis=sex toy.

I answered that saying "no" in a very lengthy way.

Do you consider your penis as a sex toy, sweetie?
Wow, you sure did just say words. I really don't care enough to respond to every jab and misinterpretation of my words in this comment; I don't want to fill this thread with stupid fights, either.

What I will say is that I'm glad you have a firm separation when it comes to real life and porn; that's very healthy. I will also note that I shared my story to illustrate the real-life situation outside of porn, both for educational purposes and for the few people here that needed to hear that story.

Now, let's put it all aside for a sec, I have a genuine question. If you don't mind, I really just need to know... why? Why no dick? Aren't most of you men? Don't you want to see yourself in the main character? Just curiosity. I don't mean anything by it, promise.

(Oh, and btw, the not shooting sperm thing is a trans thing, not a me thing; should have made that clearer.)

Is it a lesbian protagonist thread like this one but it doesn't exclude dicks? Can you point me to it?
You can just use "lesbian" tag on this site for that c:

Idk about most of "us" being men, but it is a very nuanced question, because everybody has their perspective. If we are talking about self-insertion, some people are able to follow stories as observers and get off to the most deprived shit done to mc that way. Me personally, I always self-insert into protagonist and can do it to any gender. My specific preference for protagonist is a feminine lesbian top, which is almost silly to expect to find for some reason, let alone in quality. From here spur my boundaries I guess: I'll close the game if I smell blackmail, rape (including monster), forced male LIs or forced sub protagonist.

Well, I don't know if you're new to the world of entertainment, but guess what, a character doesn't have to be the same gender as you for you to feel like you're in the character!!!!

So let's see how the games here work:
-Is the protagonist a man? So in 95% of cases he will stick his dick in anything that has a hole in it.
-Is the protagonist a futa? so she will do the same as a male protagonist with 100% certainty.

When the protagonist is a woman we have two cases:
1°: You are simply a slut (often committed) who discovers a "new pleasure" in having sex with any man who crosses your path.
2°: You are bi or lesbian, you will probably be able to have sex with all the lis available, but you will end up having to choose just one in the end (sometimes having the option of entering into a polygamous relationship).

Most of you here probably realized that stories with lesbian protagonists (or with exclusively lesbian routes) are a little deeper, sentimental and focused on the relationship between two characters and not entirely just on sex. Of course, there will still be a lot of sex(that's why we're here), but they are much more captivating to watch than a story where the protagonist just sticks his dick in as many people as possible.

Female characters, lesbians or not, are very often less shallow than male characters.
Probably because of the audiences they're trying to appeal to.

I surmise that even straight men who only want to see straight sex prefer female characters who have personalities that appeal to their tastes. So writers will usually put *some* effort into making them actual characters. That's even more the case when writing lesbian relationships since we now need at least two actual characters and it's usually for an audience that is looking for more than "stick pole in hole".

Meanwhile, male characters are often little more than the things the dicks are attached to. Sometimes they're also intended to be self-inserts for the audience so the writer is discouraged from giving them a personality.
Then, there is the hellishly overused trope of the lecherous male characters there to serve as corruption fodder for female characters. The random passer-by who sees an upskirt and suddenly feels rapey, the ugly bastard, the train molester, general assholes...

Of course there are well written male characters and shallow female characters but, in my experience, they're less common.

This actually brings up an interesting point. Earlier Inomsim was acting like fiction and reality are, and should be, completely separate ( , but that's besides the point). Does anyone else find porn that doesn't try to have some sense of realism is just... completely boring? Like, if it isn't giving actual characters and relationships then it's basically 2 pieces of meat slapping together and like... why would I give a shit at that point?

Because they are a turn off. I don't want to look at dicks. I don't spend a lot of time staring at mine and certainly not anyone else's. That goes for real porn or game porn. I would prefer that futa remain as a tag to let me know to not bother downloading and playing games which force it into gameplay. If it goes away as a tag it would be a minor inconvenience kind of like it is with real porn and if I come across dicks in lesbian tagged real porn I'm out. The difference being with real porn I can just close the page it's on but with a game I would've taken the time to DL it, so if the futa tag went away it would be an annoyance but nothing to write a 5 paragraph polemic about. The rule for me is simple, there shall be no penis in my pornography. No I do not view myself as the main character but as a deus ex machina controlling the MC but outside of her, it's voyeuristic for me.

Futanari is LITERALLY a tag. You are an adult, you can look for it yourself. There is also a thread you can look yourself. Don't be lazy. You might be interested in futanari but I am not, so the best I can say "I have seen it but i'm not interested."

Now, let's put it all aside for a sec, I have a genuine question. If you don't mind, I really just need to know... why? Why no dick? Aren't most of you men? Don't you want to see yourself in the main character? Just curiosity. I don't mean anything by it, promise.
First of all I will say I'm not sorry for my opinion because I'm just answering question and not forcing it on another person. So you all can laugh and think of me as Crazy.

I already say I hate male, I wish I could turn all male into a female, even if it means dooming the world I will still do it. Everytime I see Male I groan at how annoying they are, from their voice and face. For Self Insert, I rather stab myself with a knife than self inserting myself as male or anything with a dick. Luckily I'm still sane enough not to self harm myself that much but I will still bite my finger a bit every time i get tricked by a Heretical 'Lesbian' Game where a Female MC SOMEHOW have dick.

Because my opinion is crazy I will allow you to mock me but I will stand by my crazy opinion.

Hello everyone! I'm a prospective dev who is into several femdom and lezdom fetishes (not into futadom, trans or gay male content) and I created a poll which might influence a big decision I will make in tems of creating either a lezdom or a femdom VN as my first game. I would be very grateful if you could drop by and vote honestly based on your preferences:

femdom vs lezdom poll

Thank you and I wish you all a good night! :)

Okay, this is actually fascinating, and as for UntrustableBackstabber, something you should definitely talk to a therapist about (I'm not trying to mock you; I'm just saying that hate always stems from somewhere, and figuring out where it's from is the healthy thing to do.)

So, first off, for those who told me to just search by tags, I'm not searching for futa (god, I hate that word) porn in particular, and I don't want to see men in my porn anymore than you guys do, we both know there is no way to filter them out. If there was, we wouldn't have this list.

Now, for your answers to my question,

Most of you said that female (non-futa) characters are often more complex and better written than male ones. I can't say I disagree. There are many possible reasons for that, from our society's emotional objectification of men to, as GreenDark themselves noted, the games being directed toward straight male audiences who theoretically wouldn't care for the personality of someone they don't want to fuck.

Another interesting aspect that I will point out in your favor is that even though there is still a lot of trash in the lesbian protagonist space, it's definitely less common. This is probably a result of the niche market lesbian protagonist games occupy. A reduced monetary incentive leaves only the developers who care to make their game out of passion and love for the project. Plus, there are more female writers in that genre, which I always love and find way more genuine.

But, with all that being said, there are games that are exceptions to these rules. Do you play those? And where does that leave games where you can choose the gender of the protagonist? Ones where in the personality and dialogue for both are essentially unchanged, with the exception of pronouns and physiological descriptions. Do you then choose the male option or stick with the female?

Because they are a turn off. I don't want to look at dicks. I don't spend a lot of time staring at mine and certainly not anyone else's. That goes for real porn or game porn. I would prefer that futa remain as a tag to let me know to not bother downloading and playing games which force it into gameplay. Honestly, legit. I'll just say that I never advocated for removing the futa/trans tag; quite the opposite. The more tags we have on this site, the better. I would, however, like if lesbian futa/trans games would also be added to the list under a different category where those who are not interested could ignore it. But that is completely up to the creator of this list; if they don't want to do it, it's their prerogative.

I asked this question to understand you guys better, not to say that your preferences are wrong for you to have. So thanks for taking your time and answering it seriously.

Broken & Loved is not a perfect game by any means, but it can be really cute and sweet and answers your criteria pretty well. Just a fair warning: the game has a long build-up until the sex, and it explores some difficult themes on its way there.

[...]futa (god, I hate that word) [...]
Why? If I'm not mistaken, it means "both" (to two? Or something like this, I don't speak Japanese, even under torture, but each time I see something with the futa prefixe it relates to a set of two things/people), is the word "both" so offensive? Considering futanari is a genre with characters having both sets of genitalia, I can't see a better word to describe it.

I'm not acting. It's not because people are influenced by fiction that fiction is reality. And it's not because some (and unfortunately most) people can't make the difference that the difference doesn't exist or shouldn't be made.

With the tastes I have in porn, if reality and fiction were the same thing, I would be in prison. On the other hand, I wouldn't even consider the idea of doing anything I see or like in porn. Actually, most of them would be things I would find disturbing and disgusting in real life.

Then, not only the cultivation theory is controversial, it only focuses on one group of people (Americans, who are some of the most easily influenced people on the planet), but it also shows that the impact is the most important when there is a deliberate vocation to manipulate the audience (that's why, despite not being homophobic or transphobic, I hate LGBT whatever you want to add after that, content with a passion)

And you can add all the realism you want to a piece of fiction, it will stay fiction, otherwise it would be a documentary unless Ridley Scott makes it.

Well, that's my preference, but I would still choose the female protagonist, and a good example of this is Thirty Days and Bad Memories, I never even touched the male route of these two.
But this for me is a preference in general, not just in porn games, I much prefer playing with a female protagonist than a male one.

What's wrong with futas?
Personal Opinion: PURE HERESY OF THE HIGHEST ORDER!!! BRING ME MY CHAINSAW TO CUT IT!!! I SHALL CLEANSE THE CORRUPTION FROM THIS POOR SOUL!
Kalm Public Opinion: It is just Male with Boobas. The Word is not wrong but it is usually Male with Boobs that feels more pleasure because they have boobs. Somehow Trans people seems to think it is derogatory when it is not. If that person think it is bad word then fine for them. For me it is normal word that I just don't want to see for personal reason.

Anyway I'll stop saying Menhera Personal Opinion and say Kalm Public Opinion.
