Mod Lessons in Love Progress and Guide Mod [v0.47.0] [cckerberos]

I don't know if things were reworked a little or some other bug happened, but now there's a desync in my save. The guide mod says I've failed Selfless long before the event has taken place (Tsuneyo's just joined my class). The actual game shows Selfless.
I'm sure I can just remember it. I tried seeing if I could figure out the bug and make a patch but I have no idea what these ev_variables are or what show_complete is so I gave up.
[edit] and either it fixed itself randomly, or it did when I restarted my computer instead of putting it to sleep.

Delete the mod folder and file in the GAME folder and put it back again.
Sometimes the overwrite does not work and you have to clean install the mod.

Deleted progress mod folder and screen_mod.rpy and reinstalled the mod. Still can't load the saves. I'm using joiplay.

No need. Were you using joiplay when you made the saves that you're trying to load?
Everything I can find on this error suggests that it's caused by a mismatch in renpy version between the saves and the game.

updates are basically automated on their end they just wait for public releases of the game.

They're probably just AFK but I could imagine wanting to delay updating due to how fucked the flags were last update (Wrong flags were used to detect if the player was grooming Tsukasa) and figure out what they're settling on to fix it.

you mean the game update or mod update? what happened exactly?
You have to "choose" Tsukasa and at her events choose the "good" choices. I think you had to have all three flags.

There were scenes and dialogue in 0.46 that were only supposed to be shown if you had chosen to groom Tsukasa. The flag Selebus used was the event flag that gave you the choice, ignoring the flag for making the choice itself because Sel did it the wrong way and confused himself (You need both the event flag to make sure you've seen the event instead of being red pathed out of the chance to make the choice, and the flag used which says if you refused to groom her or not)
If you decided that you didn't want to groom Tsukasa and watched 0.46's Chapter 4's Christmas with the monks you would have still made Tsukasa watch you have sex in 0.46 (And a surprising amount of wholesome dialogue too but we can't have nice things in Kumon-mi)
We know this is a bug because there's already been discussions on how Sel is going to fix the bugged progress next update using autopatch and moving forward will probably use tsukasacurious as the proper flag from this update onward.
