That would be an issue. I've done that, but not in this game. I learned to be careful around the delete key and the save folders unless I specifically intend to start over before I got to this game, the hard way. Let's just say I've unintentionally forced myself to start over in quite a few other games, at least four. Especially on Windows 10 because it doesn't ask if you want to delete something before doing just that when using the delete key.
Windows 10? My PC will die before it even starts, I am stuck in Win 7 (still the best one)

Not gonna argue with that, I have had multiple issues where Microsoft decided to push an update right in the middle of a play session of this game and it automatically restarted my whole machine. You can't tell it to ignore updates like in 7 and it sets your notifications to silent mode, meaning you don't get notifications, while games are being played unless you specifically set it to interrupt your gaming with a notification. Probably a setting for streamers so they don't get notifications in the middle of a stream. It is faster than you think, but it comes at a serious cost and I don't mean money. This machine came with it and it has hardware that isn't supported on anything older, like a USB-C port using USB 3.1, so I can't go back.

Just remember to always pray to Hope-sama
Let us all pray to the glory of the all powerful HOPE-Sama, praise be. :p

Expecting the worst is a good mindset to have in this game. If you thought the clocks were bad, you were in for a VERY rude awakening, as you've probably found out by now. Some of those aren't scary necessarily, just weird, which you found out after that. So far, the game itself hasn't even scratched the surface of how bad the situation will get, so no, you have not, either. Always happy to help in whatever way I can. I don't think any of us fully understand where we stand on Selebus yet. :p Kidding, we love your work, of course, at least some of us.
The description of the game sounds fun. But after read your post and others, I'm pretty sure that this game isn't for me.

In any case, good luck to the Dev with the game.

That is fair, but I want to point out that there's plenty of happy times in the game too. We tend to focus on the horror and sad parts of the game in this thread since those are what stick in our minds and make it unique, but it has a ton of humor and lighthearted scenes. Definitely more good than bad things happen. It just also has some really sad and scary scenes to make you appreciate the lighthearted and happy ones more.

It's worth a try for the excellent writing alone. The main reason it's so scary is because we've grown so attached to the characters thanks to the writing.

I was going to respond myself, but Ankoku summed it up perfectly. There is nothing I could say that could better describe the game or add to his comment. I would definitely at least try it. It may actually sound worse to you than it actually is for you. Everybody responds differently and our response just happened to be that we remember specific scenes for specific reasons and those scenes were the horror elements for the things happening in said elements. It is your call, though.

For now, I'm not too convinced that I'm going to give it a try. Usually a scene that I particularly dislike (and not only related to sex scenes), it tends to screw up the whole game, I lose much of my interest in it. I already have experience with several games that, after some event or a scene that I didn't like at all, I could no longer enjoy them, which annoys me a lot.

I have no desire for the same to happen with this one.

But what if it doesn't?

As far as i know, if you just hit del, the file will still remain on the recycle bin. But if you hit shift + del, the file will be erased permanently. But with shift + del, the windows still ask for your confirmation.

Yoooo, what the actual fuck!? I was just replaying

Are you hiding things in the replays Selebus?
Selebus is always making small changes/fixes to earlier scenes just about every update. Wouldn't surprise me if those changes are now in the scene the first time it plays. However, the idea of events referencing events that couldn't have happened at that time if you've seen them would be an awesome mindfuck for the replay system.

To check you can click the name in the quote below, download the save, and see if it's in there on a fresh save that hasn't seen the Halloween event yet:
If it's red and crossed out, and you don't have a save prior to that, I'm afraid there isn't. However, if you do everything prior to the Halloween event, you can have my save that starts right at the event and has that (and everything else) done. You can just watch it in scene replay with the save if you really don't wanna restart.

How did I not connect those dots? This is the second time I've totally missed a connection between events, the other being an event I am not going to mention yet because it is not public yet.

This is probably my answer, I played the original version of the scene as released, but not any changes after. Yes, that would be an amazing move on Selebus's part and it even fits with all the weirdness going on already.

A little later than normal, but updated my event guide for 0.11.0.

I predict a lot of people getting stuck and asking questions this time around.
Oh yeah, especially in one event in particular, which I will not specify because this is in a patron only build right now.

Older Windows gave a prompt just for moving a file from the folder it was in to the recycling bin, 10 does not, but it does give a prompt for permanent deletion.

I just found out something, just right click at recycle bin, then go to properties. You'll find option to 'Display delete confirmation dialogue'.
