This fucken scene man, i just keep choosing 'go left' and there's always another thing to see, it's fuckin endless, i know i gotta see every location but man, the sound is starting to get to me, this event is probably the best happy event i've played, the creepy voice and music are slowly drilling into the back of mind.

Unless Yasu is around a year older than Ami, Nozomu should have already died, since her parents died when Ami was 7, and Yasu was said to be 8 when it seemed to start. Of course, who knows, time seems a little inconsistent.
I want to say that Maki is just in denial, but to be honest, I think she just ridiculously sucks at understanding others. Her goto for why Makoto is suddenly happy, is the same thing that actually lead to Makoto jumping off a building like 2 years ago. Maki definitely isn't the best mother. Then again, none of the mothers in this game really are that good in the first place... Besides maybe and ironically, Sekai.
