He's said he does it because it he likes it and it makes the names easier to remember.Also, while I am thinking about it, does anybody know, or has Selebus said, why each of the characters have a first name and last name that start with the same letter? They tend to have a sing-song, rhyming quality. Is this common in Japan, or is Selebus trying to be humorus here? For those more familiar with Japanese names, do the last names of the characters have any significance?
None of their last names strike me as having any obvious significance and he's said not to worry about the kanji in the names because he's not good enough with kanji to do anything clever with them.
