Or even worse, if one of the Senseis was bad enough that made Chika not like him, there could have been a timeline where Rin and Chika became lovers before the reset mercilessly wipe that memory away.
That makes me wonder if that version of Sensei would even care about Rin's "anti-pervert barrier". I can't help but wonder what some Senseis may have done to her.

We know breaking the girls (Broken Makoto for example) isn't exactly new for Senseis:

and I struggle to see the more lustful "This is a game":
You don't have permission to view the spoiler content. Log in or register now.
Senseis being okay with being friendzoned by Rin.

I'd be a little surprised if there hasn't been a Sensei that has taken advantage of Rin during her first depression episode, before she even makes it to the beach. Who knows what may have happened afterwards.

Since some people were complaining about the loading time of LiL I present you with a solution: Renpy apparently recompiles every .rpy file when you start your game. I removed every .rpy file from the \game and \game\scripts\subscribestar folder and the load time reduced from 25 to 15 seconds. So far the game works well.

There's a flag called YUMIKNOWS. This is set when you call Chika to go to the Onsen to take her virginity. If you complete all the available Yumi events prior to going, Yumi never finds out the full extent of your relationship to Chika, and lets things play out in the locker room. If you go to the Onsen before triggering the Yumi event Abyss, she knows the full extent and storms out of the locker room almost immediately.
cool! i did not know that, wow. I always do all of Yumi events prior to doing the onsen event for all my playthroughs out of habit. Is it the same with Miku during Makoto's invitational? I always get the scene where Miku decides to sleep in the other room after Sensei's funny business and don't think I've seen alternates.

The best games are the ones that inspire copycats, there's what, some 6-7 different games that are similar to this?

Kinda like how BaDIK has God knows how many copycat games.

Revisiting this thread every once in a while is a blast, dudes just getting into this have no idea how much fun the early days were.

What the heck is buried under our feet?
Corpses?
A realm beyond our imagination, filled with Invisible hands and half eaten watermelons:

I do kind of think it's hinting at Sekai's corpse. The "buried beneath your feet" thing could be a reference to a thought Sensei once had at her grave. Sekai also translates to World, so, in some metaphorical or perhaps literal way, it could be that the World is buried beneath Kumon-mi.

Dissonance is probably the game i'd go for, it's managed (IMO) to create its own unique atmosphere.

It has a decent amount of content already too, just be prepared for a bit of a slow start (and just one H-scene so far).

You don't have permission to view the spoiler content. Log in or register now.
Maya actually seems to blame herself for those tragedies:
You don't have permission to view the spoiler content. Log in or register now.
Not Ami, so I can see why she wouldn't hold it against her. If I lit a tree on fire on accident, and the fire burns down a forest, I wouldn't blame the fire.

Maya also seems to just hate Noriko irrationally:
You don't have permission to view the spoiler content. Log in or register now.
Or at least in a way she struggles to explain. My best guess is it is a mix of jealousy and fear that is conflicting with her own arrogance that refuses to accept it.

Noriko likely reminds Sensei not only of Niki, his second love, but also Sekai, his first:
You don't have permission to view the spoiler content. Log in or register now.
And Noriko more or less embodies Sensei's past to Maya, which Maya wants him to have nothing to do with:
You don't have permission to view the spoiler content. Log in or register now.
So, Noriko could have been seen as not only a threat to Sensei's heart, but also a threat to his mind, even before the resets. At least in Maya's eyes.

To be honest though, Noriko's only crime is existing apparently. Or I guess falling in love with Sensei.

Yeah, I just thought it's funny how she insists calling Noriko a psycho in a direct comparison to... you know, the actual psycho :p

Even Sensei has wondered similar:
You don't have permission to view the spoiler content. Log in or register now.

After she used Ami's presumably fav blanket that was possibly her dead mother's, during a reset, instead of risking one of her own blankets:
You don't have permission to view the spoiler content. Log in or register now.
Then apparently lost it:
You don't have permission to view the spoiler content. Log in or register now.
I'm not sure if it's come up since.

Maya likely hated that blanket due to what Sekai did to Sensei under it:
You don't have permission to view the spoiler content. Log in or register now.
but still, what a dick move.

Also Noriko at some point told Akira that Maya is a terrible person. Nice catch on the blanket though, didn't notice that.
