I never play with sounds on any VN I've played...
I specifically went through and listened to all the mp3 files in the 'game' folder to find it after I played the Christmas update. I just had to find it so I could play it on repeat. As for playing with sound in game, you're going to end up stuck if you don't have the sound on, there's already one sound required section with more likely.

Not all believers are that strict in their devotion to the beliefs of their religion, not to offend any here, I mean no disrespect.
I'm for all intents and purposes an atheist, I just come from an Evangelical background and recognize the need some people have for religion. Mostly I'm on hand for neopagan stuff or marriages people don't want to do in churches, I don't get up and sermonize every Sunday.

Nifty. I'm an atheist too. But I'm also a Reverend Doctor of the Universal Life Church of Modesto California, and have officiated a friend's wedding.

Source: am minister, but not a good one i guess cause i'm getting all Joseph Campbell on an eroge...
Ask, and THE LORD shall eliver! I expected a layman that knows about theology, not a minister.
Truly a HAPPY coincidence.
I get secret scenes are "part of the game" but then maybe don't make them so hard to find?
There are also events where you need to visit X person's room on X day with X requirements (Ayane scene).
I completely disagree with the secret events.I laughed out so fucking loud when I found out how to unlock the second one.
I see your point about the non hidden events though. Asking to visist a girl in a specific location is more than fine, but also in a specific day? Its easy for that t get grindy with trial and error. Especially if you first need to do another event first.
I find funny that you can basically advance the whole main story without doing too many of Ayane's events. Same with Sana
Honestly, for the first half of the game, until the beach event, all you really need is Yumi, Maya, Chika and most importantly, Rin. Assuming you want to advance the main story.
There is also nothing to tell you "hey, don't view this totally unrelated secret scene because it'll progress the game and you don't have enough lust with X character yet!"
I completely disagree with this one as well. Lust scenes activate based on how far you took things with a girl. And how far you take things depends on both the player, and Sensei as a character.
Moreover, those are optional content (Although I want to know the ramifications of Ayane's)
This experience honestly might make me stop supporting the game for a bit - not because of the puzzle - but because you insist on not sharing the answers to people who ask for them.
Yeah, that much is an issue. If it were "See X event again" it would be another story, but if you tell me "Its said by Ami in the mall" I say "Ok, but where the hell is the mall event???? Whats the name of the event????"

It's a hentai VN game.
Ok, this is on of those "This is not for you" moments if you what you want from specific product is limited by these words.
I think something that would be a HUGE help is greying out events you can't access yet due to missing requirements. That way you can easily see what events you should be working towards.
I commend the constructive criticism. I also suggested something like ahint system. I think "See her in X day" or "you may want to see X girl before" or just "Wait (for main events" and "You are not ready for this" would be helpful but honestly? Just keep the wiki at hand. THe author doesn't want this in his work, so us the fans can do it instead, and thats honestly one of the best parts. I get to talk with other people about something I love. You should try to see the positives of the experience.
It will definitely keep going in that direction as that is the kind of game I want to make.
It's difficult by design and I understand why some players won't like that. I, by no means, expect everyone to agree with my vision.

But there is a reason I continuously implement things that I know are going to make people mad or make people quit. I've said it on several other occasions in this thread (I tried finding the really lengthy example through searching but wasn't able to uncover it), but the deeper you get into this game, the more it doesn't want you to be there. If you don't want to uncover the mysteries of this world or pay attention to it, why play?

I don't view this this as just a hentai VN. It's so much more than that to me and many others. And I owe it to all of those people to stick to my vision and not water down anything to appease those who think it's arduous to move outside of the box. Or inside the box, in some ways. The answers to the segment you were stuck in for four hours were all given to you. The game literally tells you to write two of them down and one of the others is given through audio in the same scene.

So thank you so much for any support you've given me but do not feel obligated to continue supporting the game if you are no longer having fun! I'm personally happier with it now than I've ever been, and I'm going to keep doing things my way- even if some people do not agree with it.
Ah, its refreshing to see a respectful "This is my vision, and I am sticking to it" statement from a content creator nowadays. Others would've been snarky and smugly look down on the other party.
Yes, not everything is for everyone.
You know, I myself forgot the terminal number during that update, but it took me about five minutes to find the answer in the thread. I wonder why it's so difficult for some?
Not everyone remembers the exact name of the event where theyt hink the key could be. I, for example, completely missed the circles of hell one. Didn't connect it to "terminal" at all.
Now keep in mind that some don't play an update as soon as it comes. Some of the keys were also in events 2 months away from the part it actually asked for. Hard to remember that.
I never play with sounds on any VN I've played...
This is the one you have to. Puzzles aside, the soundtrack is fucking awesome.
Oh well, I guess the nickname Hope is out of the list!!!
That, "Nozomu" and "God" were some of the first ones I tried, just to see if I got something. I was slightly surprised none worked. I expected a really doubting expression for making the girls call you "God" at least , lol. I can't be the only one who tried. Especially since Ami's dad is supposed to be called "Nozomu"

It IS 'see X event again' in this game. If you don't know a piece of previously presented information, you have to go back and look it up using the new replay function, that's what it's for, though it does add the ability to just watch what you've done already.

Ok, this is on of those "This is not for you" moments if you what you want from specific product is limited by these words.
This I don't totally agree with. Not everyone realizes that this isn't a porn game, but a game with porn, the difference being the focus is on the writing in a game with porn while the focus is on the porn in a porn game.

There is an extremely common misconception that F95 is specifically for porn, it isn't, it is a general pirating forum, the majority of pirated games just so happens to be porn games is all, though whether it is or isn't piracy does get a little murky when you have projects where the actual dev is the one putting it here. That's why there's a tag for games with no sexual content, because not all games fit into the categories above, some even being normal games.

I commend the constructive criticism. I also suggested something like ahint system. I think "See her in X day" or "you may want to see X girl before" or just "Wait (for main events" and "You are not ready for this" would be helpful but honestly? Just keep the wiki at hand. Constructive, but ultimately not worth the effort because it would just mean that most events are grey or white all at once when incomplete due to the web of prerequisites that is slowly forming.

Ah, its refreshing to see a respectful "This is my vision, and I am sticking to it" statement from a content creator nowadays. Others would've been snarky and smugly look down on the other party.
Yes, not everything is for everyone.
Or the dev would bend their knee to the person commenting, I've seen that all too often. It doesn't always ruin things, but that is a very real threat to any game by a dev who does submit. The smug ones don't help, either.

Not everyone remembers the exact name of the event where theyt hink the key could be. I, for example, completely missed the circles of hell one. Didn't connect it to "terminal" at all.

This is where both the replay function and good old pen and paper come in. If it seems important, write it down. I plan to do this in my upcoming play through once I clear all the new comments on this thread. I was just waiting for the download to finish. No, I will not share my list or the download, it is patron only and my terms for assistance dictate the one in need must first put in every possible effort before I help.

This is the one you have to. Puzzles aside, the soundtrack is fucking awesome.
Indeed, I do prefer original work, but masterful use of existing works is a close second.

Because of my very first experience with unique dialogue for a specific name, variations of 'dad' have been my favorites as far as the ones that get a reaction, but the one I ultimately end up choosing to stick with is Master. I will enjoy getting a certain himedere type, her name escapes me at the moment, but she was the one in white with black hair and constantly talking like player Sensei is lower than her in one of Ayane's events, to call me that, I hope that one actually has special dialogue for her. Granted she seems like she isn't the type who talks like this to 'commoners' on purpose, it sounded more like she just doesn't know how to talk to or about 'commoners' any other way. Regardless, it still pisses me off and I want to make her submit for it.

I have been a Patreon for about half a year and I am starting to have some gripes about the game. I see some others have expressed the same concerns but I'll share them in my own words.

I recently replayed the entire game from start to finish and feel the game has become too complex to unlock scenes. You just grind and grind and maybe never find out how to progress. Wiki is almost required now or you end up frustrated and hours wasted. I get secret scenes are "part of the game" but then maybe don't make them so hard to find? There are also events where you need to visit X person's room on X day with X requirements (Ayane scene). It requires too many clicks to grind out the menus looking for progression paths. It's become a giant spiderweb of locks and requirements that aren't easily presented to the player. There is also nothing to tell you "hey, don't view this totally unrelated secret scene because it'll progress the game and you don't have enough lust with X character yet!".

Then there was the terminal in the newest update. I spent 4 hours on it figuring out the stuff, googling, searching discord, and finally I figured it out. I didn't feel rewarded. I felt relieved. This experience honestly might make me stop supporting the game for a bit - not because of the puzzle - but because you insist on not sharing the answers to people who ask for them. It seems they get deleted off discord and this forum when posted. Not everyone has good memory or wants to spend hours figuring out a puzzle. You wrote the game, obviously the answers seem obvious to you but there's no reason for REQUIRED secret events and answers to be so hush hush. It's a hentai VN game.

The game itself is amazing outside of this, so I am torn. I really hope the game does not keep going this direction. I think something that would be a HUGE help is greying out events you can't access yet due to missing requirements. That way you can easily see what events you should be working towards.
I get what you're coming from, but a wiki is almost always required in great games. Aside from porn games, PC games like Final Fantasy or GTA always need you to look up stuff online too, whether it be to advance a quest or find an easter egg. Just look at the comprehensive guide that's on this forum – it has everything on it, including that terminal scene you apparently had such a hard time with :)

cckerberos is your savior:

A little later than normal, but updated my event guide for 0.11.0.

I predict a lot of people getting stuck and asking questions this time around.

Should I jump back in this game? I know the writing is phenomenal, but the horror elements weren´t sitting well with me at the time, I was in a dark place last time I played this.

Has the game maintained the dark/horror elementes to the same level as, six months ago, or has the dev turned it up since then?

I´ve been at a loss of games to play and saw this back o the updates pages, and wondered if I should jump back into the game

Why do most of the girls in description of the game have small breasts? The girl with blue hair has the perfect size.:sneaky: It is always known that the bigger the better! The description of the game made me curious enough to download it. I'll be back with an opinion.:)

Love this game. It's somehow both fluffy, yet psychologically thrilling. Really looking forward to more.

On potentially future content, I was wondering if pregnancy would come up. I don't expect that to be soon or whatever, but maybe at around the end.

Either way, I wish you luck!

If it ever does, it will be near the very end of the game. I still haven't made a decision.
It wouldn't be used as fetish content, though. More of a story thing.

I don't remember exactly which events were in the game 6 months ago, but aside from the first HAPPY event, the horror has stayed at about the same level. If Rin's Delirium event fucked you up last time though, there has been another event added in a similar vain that's worse.

Personal preference I'd imagine. Trust me though, the way the girls look matters little once you start really getting into this game. The character writing is amazing. I have 3 favorite girls, one of them, Sana, (black hair, green eyes, hair covering one eye) has no sexual content yet, another, Rin, (Pink eyes, skull hair clip, headphones) only flashes you at one point (and I wish she didn't....), and thankfully the 3rd, Futaba, (blue haired girl you're referring to) has a good amount of sexual content though.

Really though, the fact that 2 of my 3 favorites have no sexual content, and most people that play this game end up having Rin be one of their favorites with practically no sexual content from her, should show how good the character writing can be.
