We've got a Halloween update coming next, and a Christmas update likely coming at the end of the year (Selebus hasn't added that to the schedule yet, but the schedule only goes through Dec 1). Last year, the beach, Halloween, and Christmas events set up all the drama that played out through the rest of the year, and I kind of expect that pattern to repeat this year. I don't think we'll see a Bluejay-type event until January, but I also think once all those events are over, we'll see MORE of those types of events than we did last year, and I would be shocked if the next time a reset rolls around we don't see multiple girls find themselves on the rooftop. The overall drama is still good but idk... starting to lose its novelty at this level of action, ideas getting repeated, youknow.
Methinks the stakes need to be raised fairly soon.
Halloween and Christmas is good and all, especially since Selebus makes tons of progress in a year, but I kinda doubt it will be that great for new players. Many devs "cut" such updates when the time for them is past for a reason. Well, at least it can be explained with all the "time" shenanigans, but I kinda doubt its a good way to go. Maybe its better to make such updates once every 2 years so there is more time to prepare and have less loose ends. We've got a Halloween update coming next, and a Christmas update likely coming at the end of the year (Selebus hasn't added that to the schedule yet, but the schedule only goes through Dec 1). But the passage of time and it's shitfuckery is a fundamental conceit of the narrative. Time has to pass in the game to show that there is a loop.Halloween and Christmas is good and all, especially since Selebus makes tons of progress in a year, but I kinda doubt it will be that great for new players. Most holiday events in these games exist as bonus content for patrons and does not factor into the plot at all.Halloween and Christmas is good and all, especially since Selebus makes tons of progress in a year, but I kinda doubt it will be that great for new players. What is the justification behind this theory? There's usually something that causes such theories to form within the actual canon.sooo... sana
I'm not to happy with a theory I came up with because it makes me very upset.
Sara's 'son' dies, its really her daughter, her son has survivors guilt, dissociates, and starts wearing dresses insisting that he is sana because he wishes he died in her place. The military wouldn't take him because he is trans. Selebus is drawing out sana's story line to mind fuck everyone.
Does it? I have never had this happen and I'm not sure what you are saying is causing it since immersion can be lost through basically any aspect.Been said here by someone else, but one improvement would be immersion not being killed constantly. It starts to kill any feeling you have for anything that happens when repeated. Ruins any sense of shock or affection for the story
Other than that, I liked this update, and I can't wait for the Halloween update, Molly moved from a B to an A*

As opposed to the characters saying "it has now been 3 months since the start of the year" major cultural events are a pretty slick way of showing time pass.
Plus my enjoyment of media does not require the time of year in said media to be the same as my time. There is no reason to refuse to acknowledge the existence of Halloween and Christmas for the other 10 months of the year.
Indeed, we do have to remember that time does not flow the same in this game's world as it does normally due to all the resets. There are, in fact, events that happen a certain way BECAUSE there is a sense it happened before, because it did and a reset occurred, taking them to a point before the events in question. With that, he could very easily create a moment of deja vu within the story and I can actually see some very interesting Denpa like methods of doing so, like things not quite being the same, but instead being a bit more off as the world continues to fall apart. Most holiday events in these games exist as bonus content for patrons and does not factor into the plot at all.
Last year's holiday events very specifically set up events that transpired later on -- the Halloween event set up Makoto's arc through Bluejay, the Christmas event kicked off the tension between Rin and Molly that blew up last update. I expect the same this year.
The fact that the girls are now going through their second Halloween together in the same school year is also a red flag to the characters that have the awareness to pay attention to these things, just like the midwinter beach trip was. it's a clue that something isn't normal. There shouldn't be two Halloweens (or two Christmases) in the same academic year. So there's a pretty significant amount of relevance to these events happening.
Time inWell, its great and all but Christmas was not that long ago storywise (I guess?). There is still snow, there was no summer or autumn. I just kinda assumed its near spring but quite far away from another autumn (when Halloween usually is)
Well, lets count that as another glitch in the matrix then. Or maybe I forgot about something, fair assumption.
Again, for us, average players that play this game for about half a year+ it feels like eons ago, but new players will notice that and it can break the immersion.
The Maki event is blocking main event As Loud as a Whisper Can Be. The Maki event may be day-limited (only available during certain nights). Try visiting the porn shop every night for a week to see if that dislodges that.Day 540
Eff & Lst Points on all characters are already way higher than required (how could they not be at day 540?)
The following events will not trigger:
As Loud as a Whisper Can be
[for Maki] Maki Miyamura's Mom Mode Mission
[for Makoto] Bluejay (Happy Event, Miku progress needed)
[for Miku] One. Two. Three. (Happy Event progress needed)
Guide says the "xxxxxxxxxxxxxx" is required and is found on the Invite Over selection,...but the selection never appears as an option.
That actually fits the game's mood a lot better, too. Nicely done. This game is too WHITE for my liking so i made a dark mod for myself which is more pleasing to my eyes. It turned out decent so thought of sharing it here.
The "Invite over" only seems to appear at night. So there is one on Sat and one on Sun. XXXXXXXXXXX is not an option in either. Repeated it for weeks. The Maki event is blocking main event As Loud as a Whisper Can Be. The Maki event may be day-limited (only available during certain nights). Try visiting the porn shop every night for a week to see if that dislodges that.
The XXXXXXXXXXX only appears on Saturday or Sunday. Since it only appears on weekends, it may also only appear in the morning or afternoon.
That's all I can think of.
not much. What is the justification behind this theory? There's usually something that causes such theories to form within the actual canon.
thankyou and i have an idea, next time, why don't me just post my save here and will track my activities to find it, just like cloud driveSomeone posted on yesterday, just look at the last 2-3 pages and you'll see it.
Saves are stored by RenPy in a OS-specific folder. You can just hit new game and ignore the saves; the only effect is that content will be skippable without "Skip Unseen Text" enabled. On Linux distros, it's under ~/.renpy; from what little I know of Windows, it's probably in AppData or something? This may be a dumb question, but how can I reset the game completely? I stoped playing halfway through the game some months ago and now I have time to play again, but I want to start everything from scratch, what archives should I delete? Tries deleting the save folder, but the saves are still there once I open the game.
