Does it seem like the game is finally entering a 3rd Act soon and starting to close some leads with shit hitting the fan so we can move toward an ending?

I haven't played in a few updates because honestly, as much as a game should try and have a decent amount of content and good story/character development, another important part is respecting a player's time and I feel like I've heard the dev has said they have like, 100+ parts in mind.

That's insane, at this point if we aren't headed toward a defined through-line towards an ending I'm just going to drop this one. It has great writing and scenes but there is too much at this point. God forbid an update comes in that invalidates saves and requires playing through it, aint nobody got time for that.
If you mean 3rd Act as in "every story has an opening, middle, and end, are we nearing the end yet?" No. We are definitely not. We're about %20-25 through, according to the developer. We're probably about a year away from Act 1 ending in that 3 act structure.

I wonder how many chapters we'll end up with in the finished game, I hope a lot.

In other news, I just got to chapter 2, and wanted to change everyone's profile outfit, and that is when I found out Tsuneyo's Clothing Option #3, I did not expect something that creepy there, I feel like a lot of people don't know about that one.

ok i need help

i'm stuck at the "the world is broken" scene (after rewrite, before reset). Using the guide mod as well. I've searched through the thread and I get that you need to go to the shrine to raise your affection with GOD to at least 5 but right now i'm at 20 affection and still nothing new is triggering. did I break the game (not the world) or am i missing something else?

edit: ok finally i got the option to go to school, nevermind i guess. does this game make you post this question to f95zone before it lets you proceed?

HOLY SHIT I had zero idea this is a thing; and yes I went and patted the crap out of Noodles until the interaction ended like an event, then I got the outfit (this better not be her newest Halloween outfit bc it's too effective on me)
It seems that headpatting anyone until the scene ends unlocks a new outfit for that character, specifically their pyjama outfit, that creepy one for Tsuneyo from patting Noodles is just special.

That would be very weird, the guide says it happens on a weekend day, but for me the option to go to school only appeared on Monday.

I still don't understand why people write reviews complaining about the nature of this game.

"I really liked the characters but couldn't stomach the pedo MC and making the girls be hurt and cry"

Isn't that kind of a focal point of the narrative? It'd be like me playing a femdom game and complaining that my MC is a submissive pussy.

"I really loved the action sequences, but the whole thing about short people carrying some trinket into a volcano was a little dumb"

Yeah the issue with that line of thinking is that a generic femdom game and the lord of the rings are both very different to a game where you can decide to groom children and rape schoolgirls. So the comparisons aren't valid. And the argument that it's the focal point of the narrative is giving me a sickly vibe right now.

So they have every right to complain about certain content that's included. I usually just skip over the nonce/rape scenes but if others feel that they shouldn't be included the first place, then they are 100% correct. And it's strange behaviour to even judge them for that.

Is the "There is nothing" message showing instead of actual scenes a bug, or working as intended? It can be hard to tell in this game.

No, it shows up instead of ACTUAL scenes like the one where Chika confronts Yumi at her dads and you play family with Touka and Chinami
IIRC the "THERE IS NOTHING" image is the default image the game calls back to if the intended image fails to display (or something like that, I'm not good with computer science)
This likely means that you have the script for those scenes but for some reason you don't have the images. Perhaps an issue happened when you were unpacking the download?
For me at least, LIL patches often fails to completely unpack and I have to retry a few times to make it actually work, maybe for you it only unpacked like half the files before crashing whatever program you used to unpack it?

Unpacked again and it's all Gucci. Thanks for the tip.
