In the Amy event she asks you to make a save and come back to visit her later. Then in this event the dude in the pool says "Surely you did what she asked." and "Go ring the bell" and stuff (aka "go reload the save and go to taco bell"). All the stuff about variables is only because it's necessary since you need to reload an old save for this. It's possible to deduce this independently, especially if you pay double attention to the vine man when he's the only one without meaning for the puzzle itself. (Although this one really sucked since pre-0.42 saves seem to crash my game so even though I made a backup save it was hell actually accessing the event. Partially my own fault for using progress mod as well.)

I'm a little CONCERNED about Ayane being in her winter garb, wearing the scarf, but seemingly not remembering what she's supposed to do with it. HOPEfully we find out in a main event in the Christmas update, and Sel doesn't CALLOUSly drag it out until the next Ayane and Maya events (May '25 release). The same thing seems to happen to Sensei during the past resets we've witnessed, even when he's remembered the continuity of events leading up to that reset. But his perception and memory is not reliable even outside the resetw, so hard to say.

Dumbass question incoming but did we just have Halloween in spring? And is it seeming like we'll have Christmas in spring as well? Were these addressed by the characters? I can't get to my PC any time soon to check this out and my brain has been filled by anime tiddies so I can't remember

This isn't the first time holidays have happened out of season.
I've just finished the whole game until the 0.45 update from start to end and posted my first review ever and probably the only review I will ever post on the site... god... this game is incredible... with it's pros and cons, it's is an awesome journey
Has Himawari ever impersonated Ami? And as of now the only person she's said anything "strange" about becoming is Ayane right?

We still can't see Maya in the shrine, but we can in the dorm - illogical.

After the reset, it started snowing and Yumi froze.
It's not spring anymore, they got winter.

It would appear that, in Kumon-mi, seasons only affect "weather types" and have become disengaged from the concept of "months and dates". For example, we had a Christmas on the beach under summer weather (can already hear folks from south hemisphere complaining from all the way down there).

Seeing Maya in the hall is definitely the bug. On top of the shrine still erroring which technically might be a bug, the mayablock variable was set to true at the end of 0.45 in the same block of changes where senseiissad was set to false and ioblock was set to false. You're supposed to have free reign around the dormitories and invite home events, but Maya isn't supposed to be one of them.I think, it's a bug. And Sel will fix it.

The two main bugs in this version are:
* Maya visitable when she shouldn't be
* If you invite someone from the phone menu at night (or almost any old animated scene - In my specific case, it happened after inviting over Niki) , after the event you end up in the pre-chapter 4 hub. This means you get the old usual Ami telling Sensei to wake up, followed by a jump to evening, with the city background. On weekends you can go to the mall to visit Chika, or go to the Koi Cafe to see Rin and Haruka. If you end up in this situation, it's an easy fix with URM, search for the label `morningch4` or `noonch4`or `nightch4`and jump to the label. You can also not do that and revisit the old generics for nostalgia's sake. You can grind your Rin affection for example.
Apparently this bug is because at the end of the animated scene there's a jump to the label "endofsat" instead of "endofsatch4". Same thing with the non saturday label. This is because Sel hasn't updated the code of the old pre "senseisad" animated scenes, so by default it drops you on chapter 3 menu. A non-URM solution would be to activate a scene with a proper chapter4 jump, maybe the new Molly scene for example.
Or, if you want to, you can edit the animatedscenes.rpy, adding a conditional on every scene to jump to the ch4 label if the chapter4 flag is active, or to the ch3 hub if not. I don't think nobody wants to code that much though.
