While I don't want to get involved in the other argument, I'd like to say I don't see this as NTR purely because Maya wasn't willing. She didn't sit down in the chair she was forced into the seat and restrained while she wasn't even conscious. Everything after that was her resisting. She never ended the scene with any sort of gratitude for Ami or some "I'll see you at christmas...Partner". Nu Maya would have gone below all of the tier lists if she had. Instead her taking Ami's deal was pure hysteria at the thought of losing Akira, and she took every chance she could to back out of it when she was alone with 'him'

Orgasms are a mechanical process (that can be altered by emotions). Someone being brutally raped by someone else can absolutely orgasm. I'm sure you know there are some girls that have been raped who felt hugely guilty about it because they still came during the process. Gonna do something a little different from now on. I will now be posting my updated tierlist. It includes the basics likes if I've seen them, if I've spoken to them, what I liked, noticed or dislike about them and the further up the list they are, the more I like them as a character and looks combined. If I find myself wanting to see more of them for whatever reason they will be higher up, simple right?

*grumbles* mc still doesn't know his age and it's been like a freaking month and a half soon since he arrived here. I would have known my age day ONE of being in a new body. I say, failed writing, but you may disagree.

I'm trying to figure out if there is a pattern to the static. I feel like there is but... what?

Pattern Recognition is a good habit to build. Recent updates had had people going back through all of the content looking for certain words to get a timeline of when they were used. Maybe you can find stuff that other people have missed because they haven't been prompted to.

Am I weird for thinking Ayane is a keeper? Someone out there is probably saying "he has no idea..." or "clueless". That remains to be seen.

With all the replaying going on, I began working on a save from the end of v30 so I could go through the Amy Happy Event. I found something that appears to be foreshadowing that I am not sure anyone picked up (did a thread search and came up empty).

The first v32 character event I played was Io's Tennis Ball, where Akira spends most of the event in the water at the bath house, trying to coax Io into the bath with him before she has to leave to help a customer. Sekai appears, Akira almost drowns, Io saves him and drags him up to her room.

After he regains consciousness, this is his internal monologue...

Didn't notice it before but it jumped out at me this time, Akira sick to his stomach for what he has been trying to do to Io, well before Io's Stomachache event.

Nothing brilliant or lore-busting, but surprised I didn't pick up on it before nor did I see any other mentions of this during a couple thread searches.

It's nice to have an extra thing to point to, but Akira knowing he hates his urges is par for the course. Between Stomachache and the choice in failsafe being wizard related, and not advancing on Yumi despite her being ready for an abusive relationship if he wanted to grasp it, we know he's aware of how bad some of his choices are, but he still makes them anyway.

That's very generous of you. I've been trying to raise the quality of my posts precisely to win over kind folks such as yourself and rebuild my shattered reputation in my home-away-from-home here. It doesn't seem to be working so well though... the Ignore wall is a harsh one, and those who choose to shelter themselves so are certainly beyond the reach of frail hands such as these. But putting them aside I am at a loss. Although aiming for smaller, snippy posts would certainly have a greater response in the divine social media algorithm, those are the kind of posts I could make on another account. When it comes to this being I need to speak with its particular purpose and thus speak at length. A lot of words means I have a lot to say on the matter, but it seems length is consistently rejected... I don't understand accusations of pretention because I don't know what that means. To attempt to affect greater importance than I have is beyond me when I am uncertain of any importance of my own. What am I to do? I am sad and lost, but cannot bring myself to silence the voice dictating what to write. In the end, I may end up having to scream into the void, for ten-odd years, waiting for someone who will listen without hiding awkwardly within the crowd. I've spent enough time talking to plants already, but I can do more. Perhaps a tl;dr will help after all though I don't like them too much myself since numerical scores and summaries tend to draw engagement from those who skip the rest to read the conclusion despite the elaboration being more important than the conclusion, like showing your work on a math problem...

I have said this before but Akira can't do anything before he figures out his deal with Sekai. I had a girlfriend explain this to me once, that some people are so lost in their own hell that all they can do is bring others into hell as well (often not even aware that they're doing it).

Regardless if that is true or not, Akira is still trapped in his relationship with Sekai. He doesn't want to have children, he doesn't want to get married, he doesn't want to have a life, he doesn't want to live because there's no real Akira here - Akira is still in that moment of seeing the car tumbling around. He never left.

So that's the big issue. He can still act on instinct (lust), and recognize that some things are wrong (often things that were done to him aka things against one's will). But that's the measure of it, as a shadow there's not much that he can do, especially changing.

In fact, I think the Akira that ended up marrying Sekai didn't solve his issues either. But that's a hunch, there's not enough to go around. It's just a feeling I have.

Now, what's interesting to me, that's also been talked about before is that he mainly deals with these issues on the green path. "Stomachache" and the one event with him showering Chinami (in which she straight up addresses his pedophilia so well that many think that was Himawari). Will that eventually make a difference as to Akira's end between green and red path? It remains to be seen.

Weird... funny, but definitely weird... and i kinda don't like it for her, it undermines her characterization, Chinami is pretty damn smart, very observant and good at poking at things until they reveal themselves... that scene was very her, we know she only speaks in 3rd person for Chika's benefit, she just wants to understand the problem that caused the fight so she can help her sister, figuring out Akira is a pedo was a side product of that. If it was just Himawari... wtf was the point of any of that?

I agree. It definitely wasn’t Himawari. People are too quick to jump to that conclusion sometimes.

Look at the events “Holden Caulfield”
(Chinami event) and “Rivals (Taco Tuesday)” (Noriko event). Particularly at the flashbacks with Wizard Maya and Noriko.

They way they speak in those flashbacks do not fit their age. Like… at all. It’s almost like their mannerisms didn’t change from past to present.

With that in mind, it isn’t too far fetched to conclude that Chinami is the same way.

She’s been holed up in her home for years, watched mature shows on TV like Game of Thrones, and got recent access to the internet when she got her new phone. No duh she’s gonna learn about some non-Wizard friendly topics.

And just to parrot it a second time: Chinami is stuck at home. What else can she do for entertainment when she’s by herself?

With all that free time comes boredom. With boredom comes curiosity. With curiosity comes interest. With interest comes learning. And with learning comes knowledge.

As Bingoogus said, Chinami is a smart and perceptive girl; something that has been alluded to for multiple chapters now. This isn’t new.

I am enjoying your running commentary! I believe I am mostly following which comment goes to each event but not all. I also do this after each update, just write down quick thoughts.

Ayane is a keeper! She's been right behind Maya and Niki as my favorite for a long while now. I have a feeling I may like her purity route the most in the end.

I agree, tier lists are difficult. I cant do one, most of the girls change spots to fast after we get past my top 3.
