I've mentioned it before on this thread, but it was when there was a lot of drama going on in the thread that later got deleted, and my post about it might have gotten caught in the mass deletion.
Regarding the present and future: No, there is no real fear of LiL being banned from here due to any scenes, because it would be deleted from subscriberstar for it first, which Selebus relies on for his money. So those scenes, for all the insinuation, are unlikely to exist tbh (or they would happen in such a way that it's tackled from another viewpoint rather than a mainly sexual one idk).
So, unless Selebus decides to ditch any form of intermediary for getting financial support, it is unlikely that there is any danger of that. For all his artistic vision, realistically he's still bound by restrictions regarding wizards (or at least blatant wizard content). Also, mind you, rule 7 is not that clear-cut and can be judged rather favorably (given what is stated in the guideline itself, and what you're able to find in this very site).
Oh, boy, this is a trip down the memory line. I remember mods dressing Sel down in this thread and some unrelated devs that i didn't expect to see in this thread liking their (mods's) posts. Those were the days, some grade A drama.
I'm curious what Sel would do if he didn't have to worry about money (or potential litigation). Like, in a vacuum, does he include explicit wizard content? Is it truly necessary to convey the story he wants to tell? Is it more powerful to not show things explicitly, and leave them heavily implied?
For example, a messed up seen with a wizard, lots of suggestion but nothing physical, super rapey vibe, then just a shot from outside the door, the door closed, and a sound effect of the door closing. Cut to black and force players to sit on a black screen for 10 seconds to process.
Personally, I feel that would be way more traumatic than explicit scenes.

You can both make an explicit scene feel cheap (in the moment) even though you're seeing the folly, and a black screen scene feel poignant enough that you end up devastated for that which you were unable to avoid. It all depends on how you write it. An example of the first would be most hentai manga, since it's made for a quick fap. Like those cheap "aware" mind control stories, which tend to end up with mind break-induced loyalty.
Personally I think the black screen one could have a bigger impact, but it's Sel's decision in the end.
EDIT: Also, you don't need it to be a wizard. I'm kinda desensitized to stuff, but even from an outside perspective, you can FEEL how unsettling Stomachache and the immediate lead to it is.
I don’t see why there wouldn’t be Wizard content. I mean… there’s been so many specific choices and flags we’ve had to set in order to see certain Chinami and Tsukasa events, including that one choice we made in “Failsafe”, where we actively choose to continue and groom Tsukasa (Green event btw).
My question then is: if that isn’t the direction the story’s going, what’s the point of writing it that way?

I think what was being asked was if the wizard content would be explicit (as in, what happens is actually shown) or just implied (black screen, maybe just hearing some thoughts of both Sensei and Tsukasa).
I think we can all agree that LiL is a deconstructionist work, so it would require that something important is said by its inclusion. I don’t think he’d play it for hard pee pee reasons, but I’m not sure what explicitly wizard content adds to the deconstruction of the many themes being tackled.
Pedo bad? I mean, obviously. Perhaps I’m too smooth brained, but I’m not able to discern the benefit to it. We already have statutory, and Sel seems to mock those who differentiate between main cast and wizards, so why include them? By the same token, I suppose why NOT include them if every minor is the same?
But then that returns us to the primary question: what do we gain thematically by it?

I would think explicit. This game has certainly pushed all kinds of boundaries in the past, so I wouldn’t say it’s entirely out of the question. But we shall see.
I’m just hyped to finally get back into the game tomorrow. It’s been a long couple of months.

Again, it depends on what could create issues for Selebus at wherever place.
For instance, Nao-chan is generally considered a wizard when in reality she very much isn't. You could have a sex scene with her and it would be an eldritch abomination in the form of a kid rather than a kid, which in F95 would likely pose no issues. Does the same hold true for where it actually counts money wise? I'm not so sure.
But Chinami and Tsukasa are children, and thus different. Both of them were shown naked, although not in a sexual setting - so either the platforms are fine with it to that extent or it has gone unnoticed. Akira being molested by Sekai also borders child territory. Will we never see Akira and Maya's first time? Cause she was clearly a kid then, or maybe it will also fall under Maya not being human?
These are all little tricks Selebus can pull for it not to blatant, alongside inserting some "happy eventness" into it. And the more boring answer would be that sex with them will wait for them to grow up during the purity routes or something.
The illusion of choice present in LiL doesn’t negate the fact that said illusion is intended (in my opinion) to, at the very least, invite introspection in the reader.
I feel like there are some insinuations that I might be punished for trying not to harm wizards. Really hope that isn't the case, as this game is already fucked up enough without that. Hell I feel more terrified than happy about new updates. Can't stop playing, though. I will probably start a new run next time my depression kicks in. The actual psychosis makes the simulated psychosis that much more trippy. Add alcohol for increased effect!
It has been done.
okay so first off, I had tears (they didn't fall tho) and only a bit of drooling inside my mouth, it was like a 2.7x or 3x buldak ramen

If this doesn't count me in that spot then I might as well drink a shot of it, but yeah, I annihilated it mostly. I'm gonna enjoy adding it to recipes.
As I understand it, Sel tried to get the game removed from here by saying there’s wizard content in the game. Does that mean that if there actually is wizard content in the future, the game will be removed? And would the thread here be nuked?
No, unless it's ** or a baby (at least I hope they don't allow that) then it's not getting removed. Loli is allowed on this site, hell, it's even a tag.
