Honestly, I don't know what to expect from this update, aside for Tsukioka family lore drop. But hey, i am down for everything that is not Stomachache with Tsukasa
As I understand it, Sel tried to get the game removed from here by saying there’s wizard content in the game. Does that mean that if there actually is wizard content in the future, the game will be removed? And would the thread here be nuked?

Regarding the present and future: No, there is no real fear of LiL being banned from here due to any scenes, because it would be deleted from subscriberstar for it first, which Selebus relies on for his money. So those scenes, for all the insinuation, are unlikely to exist tbh (or they would happen in such a way that it's tackled from another viewpoint rather than a mainly sexual one idk).
So, unless Selebus decides to ditch any form of intermediary for getting financial support, it is unlikely that there is any danger of that. For all his artistic vision, realistically he's still bound by restrictions regarding wizards (or at least blatant wizard content). Also, mind you, rule 7 is not that clear-cut and can be judged rather favorably (given what is stated in the guideline itself, and what you're able to find in this very site).

It'd also very likely cause his revenue to tank, because Subscribestar and Itch.io would very likely delete the game, and that's where he makes his money. Note that the "care package" that he used to try and pull off that stunt is not distributed on either of those sites, you had to go to his personal site to download it. He has already telegraphed that he's not going to risk his revenue stream over this. So when it happens in the story, it will be with the aged-up versions of those characters, not the Wizard version.
Thanks both for the great explanation. Also, I read the additional context about the past actions of Sel, and it makes a lot more sense now. I should have been able to deduce this myself, but brain broken or something. ssssssssssssskkkkkkkkkkkkkk

Strange that this/a discussion about it, never came up in this thread as far as i know.
A lot of people seem to expect wizard content nowadays, but noone seemed to have talked about it's implications until now.
If Sel would pull that stunt, he'd pretty much drag Lil into some line of fire, fiction or not.
As you both insinuate or state, he'd shot himself in the feet.
Lil is pretty much in a state somewhere of "Got attention outside of it's indie realm" yet not enough to "call any trouble to the table" like Illusion or some kind of media control or whatever.
I must say that my worst fear regarding the game is that it DOES go viral, because I don't think society, especially not American society, is ready for even half of what this game is. Its far easier to pretend such things don't exist, and punish anyone that drags horrors of reality kicking and screaming into the light.

Behold the real reason as to why the game has been so gate-kept and protected behind the resets, is so that the normies are slowly weeded out for when the DARKNESS comes, nobody will report the game.
I've mentioned it before on this thread, but it was when there was a lot of drama going on in the thread that later got deleted, and my post about it might have gotten caught in the mass deletion.

Oh, boy, this is a trip down the memory line. I remember mods dressing Sel down in this thread and some unrelated devs that i didn't expect to see in this thread liking their (mods's) posts. Those were the days, some grade A drama.
I'm curious what Sel would do if he didn't have to worry about money (or potential litigation). Like, in a vacuum, does he include explicit wizard content? Is it truly necessary to convey the story he wants to tell? Is it more powerful to not show things explicitly, and leave them heavily implied?
For example, a messed up seen with a wizard, lots of suggestion but nothing physical, super rapey vibe, then just a shot from outside the door, the door closed, and a sound effect of the door closing. Cut to black and force players to sit on a black screen for 10 seconds to process.
Personally, I feel that would be way more traumatic than explicit scenes.

You can both make an explicit scene feel cheap (in the moment) even though you're seeing the folly, and a black screen scene feel poignant enough that you end up devastated for that which you were unable to avoid. It all depends on how you write it. An example of the first would be most hentai manga, since it's made for a quick fap. Like those cheap "aware" mind control stories, which tend to end up with mind break-induced loyalty.
Personally I think the black screen one could have a bigger impact, but it's Sel's decision in the end.
EDIT: Also, you don't need it to be a wizard. I'm kinda desensitized to stuff, but even from an outside perspective, you can FEEL how unsettling Stomachache and the immediate lead to it is.
