The context of the conversation is that Tsuneyo is trying to remember what happened during the fifth reset. The initial questions are about the slumber party, and then the rest are about whatever supernatural experience she had after leaving the party. Sensei underwent a trial created by Pareidolia ("Untitled") and at least some of his companions also had trials, so it's plausible these questions come from Tsuneyo's own Pareidolia trial.
Also, immediately after the passage you quoted, we're shown red eye SeKaori arrive at the ramen shop.
And then the next event in the ramen shop, Wires claws his way out which causes Pareidolia to panic and quite literally piss himself.
I think Sekai/Pareidolia were taking advantage of Wires's absence to do something naughty with the ramen shop and/or Tsuneyo.
I'm not saying this is evidence for a Pareidolia connection, but it's certainly not inconsistent with one.
If I understand correctly, you are proposing that since Tsuneyo got weird after almost poking her nose into a reset set up by Pareidolia, what gibberish Tsuneyo said afterward was actually her own part of the trial. Hence, the "seeing with your eyes closed" she brought up would have to come directly from Pareidolia.
(I'll ignore the Sekaori part and Wires clawing his way out part as they provide nothing to the context above. Unless you can articulate on how they can prove/disprove anything, they remain something that did happen but were unrelated)
First is that we don't know if those unsettling questions really come from Tsuneyo's personal reset5 or if personal trial really is a thing even. Girls that haven't become a RAS member can barely recall events immediately before a reset with zero discrepancy, let alone remembering something
during a reset. The way I see it, it's closer to Tsuneyo trying to dig up sensitive information but being stopped supernaturally. This absolves the necessary involvement of Pareidolia in the matter, as things go from "Tsuneyo reciting her trial questions prepared by Pareidolia" to "Tsuneyo being halted by a certain divine power".
I am not saying my interpretation is more correct and I am not saying that the aforementioned certain divine power cannot be Pareidolia (though I will say that it's very unlikely to be Pareidolia considering its performance in
TH15 15NT ME; the third god clearly has little to no power here in Tojo Ramen). The point is, the necessary bridge that connects "seeing with your eyes closed" and Pareidolia is not the only option on the table and is far from being the most possible one either. I personally get fixated on this type of thing frequently because most of the time we only have moon logic or false causality to back ourselves up whenever we claim A is connected to B, all because this fucking game won't give any clear hint. The least I'd do is to make sure that what is proposed is either the only possibility or the most possible option by a significant margin, and I don't see that being the case here.
Second is that, are we 100% sure that reset5 is hosted by Pareidolia? Did I overlook something? Is it because of Sekai hiding on the roof right before reset5 ended? (which, by the by, is something I also don't understand. How does this Pareidolia-Sekai connection come to be?)
To me
Untitled reeks of HOPE. We have: youdidit, amiokay, we have that warning of "taking something that does not belong to you before the summer end". All of these are heavily associated with HOPE, not just in wishful symbolism but in actual context. One really needs to really get around these before certifying Pareidolia's presumed presence in
Untitled.
TLDR is that I think your argument doesn't really bring "seeing with your eyes closed" and Pareidolia any closer and makes the phrase become a saying exclusive to the third god, which is all I am on about. I don't think it is impossible for a previous "seeing with your eyes closed" and Pareidolia to coincide, but that never guarantees "as soon as we see this phrase, it means Pareidolia is in the play".
